"Very nice discovery! small restaurant very well located on a dock of the acuout. very pleasant terrace. very friendly welcome. excellent kitchen! We went there for lunch. menu at 15€. entrance, dish, dessert. challenge with brio. Beautiful dressages. flat succulent. We discovered the tongue of cat (Excellent beef piece!) accompanied by a purée house with bits. a la carte, a knife beef tartar. Perfect! the entrance, a leafy to goat /saumon accompanied by a salad. Very good! A warm vodka cocktail. desserts., simple, well-stocked, tasty! You got it. - We've been regaled! for a very reasonable note! the leader turns the tables at the end of service. always nice attention.! m. as nice as mme. We'll be back. Next year!"

"we wanted to have a taste in the family, the setting we enjoyed, the style of tea lounge we loved. Unfortunately no one to welcome us that said the person was alone to welcome and serve. Several tables were served before us, we Parisian we had to know how to live and we are on holiday so we wait, especially children...The organic nickel tea and a big brand, very hot in quantity to say knowing that I am a tea addict, I enjoyed it. The milkshakes did not rain to the children in fact we tasted and the great surprise of the perlinpinpine powder.No fruits, no ice creams too much sugar!Children are used to drinking the homemade milkshakes of papa cook! The part of cake is ridiculous it could be bigger...This is for a tea salon in the province expensive to taste!"

"As a vegetarian, I all too often end up in North African, Lebanese or Asian restaurants when I travel in France. These are good options, mind you. But of, course, eating French in France would be great, wouldn't it? Eating excellent and bio would be...even better. This is where Comme à la maison kicks in. We had a four course menu based on and playing with chicory, polenta, mushrooms, vegetables and pineapple. Beautifully presented and superbly cooked. Together with some really good wine. An experience in taste. And all this for a very reasonable price, about EUR for two persons. Not to mention the very friendly and welcoming service. In short: this is about the best French place I have been to in France during the last or so years. (PS: In case you wonder why you should go to Castres in the first place: the musée Goya is worth a visit"

"Aujourd’hui le plat du jour était “risotto aux gambas et st jacques” et je peux vous dire que c’était un grand moment dans l’histoire de la gambas ! tout le monde est adorable et la qualité est au top de ce qu’on peut souhaiter. Bien placé dans castres avec un grand parking à côté . Un adresse excellente !"

"We were in France with our entire family consisting of 11 persons 5 of whom were kids and we had a fantastic evening at La Scala with two other friends...so a party of 13! The owner had agreed to take a pre-arrival order from us because of our number and this worked really well. From our arrival to the finish of the meal we were looked after very well and the food, especially all the pizzas was delicious. There is a large menu to choose from with all the usual toppings as well as some more to suit the French tastes. As well as pizza there is a range of pasta and also desserts. Highly recommend this place if you are in the vicinity of Mazamet."
