"we pass each year on pilgrimage in this must-have glare of the coast of azur. We know this establishment well and are this year forced to write our disappointment. The staff is less available (when there is only one service, it is not customer abbey). For example, we are hopeful of a booster for our child and have to go back to the info fishing to hear that it is enough to stack chairs. It works because we are on holiday and enchanted by the beautiful frame, so don't hold it. but cold, what a lack of attention! The chain of dishes is pushy, late. not pressed because on holiday, unfortunately, one does not feel a benevolent watch from the staff (no bread for example). The dishes of the day (often the coolest in the restaurants) also disappointed us: lasagna with acidity of tomato concentrate and tuna tartare with coarse garlic with dry fries although home (in this warmed case). What a pity, the bar or meat pieces that we used to take were enchanting us with taste buds. Can it be enough to stick to these specialties?Last Massue Cut, the chef's specialties (on holiday?) are no longer offered in a menu, which has become illegible. no shear menu is present in the map that seems to have (too) expanded to be honest and pushes to consumption. these policy changes are very unpleasant, we will look closely at the map before coming back next year. The slate was salted for a bad tasting. the customers of foreign tourists (at 3/4) can not see any difference. but don't forget your countrymen."

reception and excellent service! products are fresh and of good quality. the impeccable setting in the heart of the old town with a magnificent view of the montages and the hill (nice, cap d'antibes and the massif of Esterel). You won't be disappointed!

a tip: avoid at all costs.Dirty tables, deplorable reception, aggressive staff, no sense of service.We were not served what we ordered. The worse we wanted to get all the consumptions including unconsumed glasses. This ended with the arrival of the .deplorable gendarmes ....

we eat in this restaurant every time we come to the area with friends or family. the view is exceptional and the dishes are very good. our favorites are the hot goat salad and the gambas dish. the quality of the service is quite random according to the person who deals with you. View menu

It started badly because our reservation had jumped, but the boss took it in hand and put us a table for 7 illico. Then everything went very well: the water carafe comes right away, it is renewed constantly. Provencal stuffandole is recommended, stuffing is excellent. The gourmet coffee is also worth the detour, we are not disappointed. service is fast though the restaurant is full. Anyway, we could fear a tourist catch in view of the situation, but that's not the case.

We chanced upon La Taverne Provençale when we decided, on the spur of the moment, to visit the hilltop village of Gourdon. The spacious terrace, with its stunning views down to the coast, was already fairly full but, despite our lack of reservation, we were warmly welcomed, a table swiftly found for us and two apéritifs arrived with the comprehensive menu, including daily specials. The food was simply excellent, particularly my own farandole of traditional stuffed vegetables. Our wonderful waiter, Grégoire, took great care of us and indulged me in my efforts to practice my rusty French. Desserts were also absolutely delicious.
