La Tavernetta - Menu

A great gluten free place that unfortunately seemed to be understaffed when we were there. Waits were long and staff were not apologetic after we sat with dirty plates on the table for 20 minutes. A big shame as the rest of the meal was great!

Very basic, expensive, homemade style food. Drinks were expensive too, with a G&T setting you back almost £8. Service was friendly but very slow considering the size of the restaurant. We happened not to mind on this occasion but we were there for about 3 hours

Great location for the West End and fabulous food! We love it for its smallish light ish portions and low carbs (two of us are on low carb higher fat diets! . Extremely tasty and interesting. The butternut starter was heavenly. Friendly helpful service. Small tables but not a problem and gave a good atmosphere. half price cocktails before 6pm too!

enjoyed our visit to Leggero, the articles we tried various pastas and some beginners were all very delicious. interesting options on the menus and all gluten-free, which although no problem for one of us would be a big thing for many people. We went to a pre-theater dinner and the food wasn't too heavy for an early dinner. Freshly prepared and well presented.

It is lovely to eat somewhere that offers food different to most other places. And Leggero is just that place. Great choices for a vegetarian coeliac, lovely tasty food, quite a nice cosy atmosphere. The staff were happy to provide some recommendations that truly hit the spot. It is a popular place, we booked and were very glad that we did as others in the hour or so that we were there were being turned away.

Walking through Soho and we spotted this little Italian Restaurant. I could not believe that the authentic Italian menu was totally gluten free. Rosemary Focaccia, Arancine, Pink Ravioli and Tiramisu, food heaven for someone who has had to follow a gluten free diet for the last 20 years and not been able to eat such Italian specialities. Fantastic gluten free food just as good as the original. We will be dining here again.

The food was lovely as always with a great selection, but we were a bit bemused by the service as the waiter seemed to take a very long time to serve us, even when we caught his eye and signalled repeatedly, he did not come over to serve (it wasn't busy and he didn't appear to be busy). When we wanted to pay, we had to put our coats on and sit ready to go for quite a while to attract any attention. Would hope that things might be a little more efficient next time as I love Leggero normally and the menu is amazing for the gluten free selection.

For our gluten free friend it was food heaven to be able to eat everything on the menu gluten free. She ate things that she had never been able to eat before. For those of us that can eat gluten I was really impressed with a lot of the dishes especially the raviouli, butternut flan, bread muffin and tiramisu. These were really good. The pasta you can tell is gluten free but it is still very nice. The focaccia is very nice but again you can tell is GF. The rocket and kiwi salad was the only let down as it need a bit more pizzaz to it, or to be dressed and mixed up in my opinion. Overall really good. I would 100% recommend for any gluten free and it was really good still for those who eat all....

A truly gluten free Italian restaurant in the heart of London seems too good to miss, and it was. Absolutely everything on the menu is gluten free, so there is no risk of cross contamination, and there is real depth of understanding of vegan and dairy free needs as well. It is a family run business and there is great sense of rapport amongst the staff, which spreads to their understanding of customer needs. Food is delicious, and served quickly (we had a vegan salad, canollini and ravioli all excellent) with quirky, healthy drinks (gluten free beer is also available, of course) and a superlative chocolate brownie to finish.
