Theis family-run restaurant has a beautiful garden and serves innovative French food. Very pleasant and quiet. The chef is ambitious and adventurous. Honest prices, small but nice wine list.

Amazing food! Had a good selection of dishes from the menu and everyone of them was of standout quality. The restaurant has a lovely courtyard to dine in. The wine selection was really good as well.

Called in for a long lazy lunch. Fantastic the whole ambience of the place is excellent. The furniture the detail gone into the decor is excellent. This set the the standard what to expect of the food. Not to be let down the food arrived. Of course the food was outstanding, the presentation was 1st class, staff friendly business like. The entire experience was superb.

Great choice of fresh local food: Three attractive starters/main and desserts in the menu with 2 additionnal daily suggestions. Everything is fresh, nicely cooked with lots of flavours and generous. The service is elegant but smiling and thoughtful. Paintings, tableclothes are grey making the room a little sad and cold. The terrasse could be better rearranged. Easy carpark.

A very pleasant surprise , to find quite by chance, such a brilliant restaurant. We were there late september for lunch and was thrilled to find good shade at all the tables , as it was a very hot sunny day. Everything about this restaurant made me feel relaxed and glad to be there ; from the extremely friendly efficient service to the superb food. I highly recommend it to anyone who is in the area.

Travelling in the area we consulted trip for a restaurant in the area and this was the first to have a table available. on arrival we were greeted and shown to a table on the terrace, (it was a bright sunny day) The menu is restricted, though offers a good selection in all courses so it is likely to offer most people a selection they need, plus the quality is very good so you will leave quite content, though given most items have supplements your bill will be higher than you expect.

Our group of 9 enjoyed a superb lunch today , the selection on the 18 euro and 30 euro menu was original , beautifully presented and tasted excellent. Nothing was too much trouble , we were able to mix and match from the two menus, one person fancied chips instead of the wonderful carrot and coconut mash !! no problem , the sweet trolly with the 30 euro menu was a dream for pudding lovers.The new owners of 5 months made every effort to ensure we had a memorable lunch. I will certainly be returning soon and will spread the news locally about our experience

Four of us chose the menu de jour which cost €18 without drinks. First of all a lovely spacious restaurant just outside the main drag in Gaillac. The first course was a choice between onion soup and trout salad, then entrecôte with pepper sauce or duck a l’orange or Aubergine with Parmesan filling. The entrecôte was a little over cooked for my liking and I would have liked some sauté potatoes with it. They came with the duck). My friend loved the aubergine and portion sizes were good. For dessert the choice was an ice cream cake or a raspberry coulis with a chocolate tuille. Local excellent red wine. Well worth a visit, would definitely go again

I had dinner here with a friend who lives locally, on Thursday, and the experience was poor. Our starters (foie gras with peach, en supplement and burrata with tomatoes, were fine though a little rustic. However when the mains arrived , while my veal was excellently cooked, my friend 's steak was overdone. She flagged this up to the waitress it we were taken aback for the waiter to come over, take the plate to the kitchen and return with it saying chef says it is cooked a point . He implied that we did not know the difference. She was not able to eat it and we asked for the bill. No reduction was made or offered and when we suggested it might be in order he eventually and grudgingly knocked...
