"We were visiting Notre Dame and were trying to find a place to eat outside of the touristy area. We came across this restaurant on Trip Advisor and booked a reservation via Trip Advisor/The Fork for this evening as it was only a 10 minute walk. What an amazing find! The food is phenomenal. It's a very casual and quaint restaurant, somewhat hidden, which specializes in food from the Alsace region. To start we ordered a charcuterie board - fresh, deliciously original sausages and meats. For the dinner we ordered their Alsatian specialty, Flammekueche which looks like a pizza, same concept as a pizza but it's not a pizza and is certainly better tasting than a pizza. It has a very thin crust, almost like a cracker on the outside but not hard throughout. On top was creme fraiche, smoked bacon and onion - the Alsace Original. We also ordered another one with creme fraiche, smoked bacon and Emmental cheese - both very tasty and light. We like it so much we ordered another Original as well another to take back to our hotel! That's how good this was! Nothing like it that we've seen in the States. If we had more time we would have ordered dessert but it was already late. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice, casual place to eat with excellent food, a very friendly staff , and away from the beaten path. We will be back for sure!"

J’ai adoré la flammekeuche végane et même celle du dessert. Très bon

Such rich flavor. Great to order plenty and share along with their excellent regional wine. Seats are not comfy but the ambience makes up for it.

Des options véganes dans l’arrondissement! On a demandé une « pizza » originale de la région avec des tofu et crème! Le dessert aux pommes et cannelle très très bonne!

You have a vegan option, a vegetarian main dish. Salads and desserts can be made vegan. The place is very comfortable and friendly, the staff could not be more friendly. Very recommended! Updated by previous rating on 2022-09-08

They have one vegan option which is very tasty. You can order a menu that includes this typical dish (Flammekeuche and a salad which is very nice as well. Includes coffee too. The staff are great and helped us order. They speak in english and try their best to understand you. Recommendable:

this restaurant really liked! I've never tried to eat out of Alsace, so I was excited and the fact that they dessert a vegan is also amazing. they only have the one vegan option, but it is delicious and I would like to come back and have it again. this is a great place to eat and drink with non-vegan friends updated by the previous review on 2023-05-17

A Vegan flamenkuch on the menu that tastes like a flamm. Very well done, light and tastefully. I who am Alsatian I found the perfect flavors (soy cream, onions, smoked tofu in my opinion the Björg seen the taste. Served with a very well seasoned salad There is also a possibility to have the Vegan flamms for dessert. However, I did not find this incredible. It doesn't work too much: fruit paste makes no pie or flamm. So go for the salted flamm because it is successful if you miss this dish but the rest is not worth so much. The service is quite average and we have to get up to get the dish while the place is small. I don’t understand why we’re not served at the table. The place is noisy and s...
