"We ate twice within a week at the Linde, which claims gut bürgerliche regionale Küche high standard homecooking based on regional ingredients and tastes. The ambience is the very comfortable in the building with a 350year history. The service is friendly, attentive and competent, the...prices reasonable. A good selection of regional wines and spirits is on offer. In our food selection we favoured the local trout and the mushrooms, which are in season. Both evenings, the main ingredients of the food served (trout and mushrooms prepared in different styles, as well as the sauces) were fresh, tasty and prepared to high standard. Equally, the side dishes were barely edible. E.g. the fried potatos were limp and soggy, the peas overcooked, wrinkled and tasteless. It appeared as if the components of the meals were prepared in different kitchens or at least by different chefs. We remarked on this in a very friendly way to the head waiter the first evening, only to experience the very same again upon our second attempt. A pity ......"

we were eating on the second Christmas holiday in the linden. we live in the valley and often go to the linden. the personal is very friendly and to happen. the linde is an old very romantic guesthouse. very recommended.

I have eaten several times with my friends from the country in the linden. we agreed that the meals are very good. the service was very nice and we were served flott. in the summer I was there to the coffee and cake. my Irish friends and I have eaten the best black forest cherry cake in the linden!

unfriendly, stressed staff. long waiting time to give up an order for a drink. no support when we liked to work in the gas room at a small table. even though the gas room was empty. we had the feeling of falling constantly to the last. pity, we have been in the mood several times, this was the last time!
