"Having driven down from Cardiff crack of dawn to join the Lundy Island supply ship MV Oldenburg sailing from Bideford Quay we were hungry! Found just opposite the harbour this charming little Café Tea Room Coffee Shop. We were in a bit of a hurry as it was was not long to sailing time. The two charming ladies bid us welcome and assured us no problem we could have breakfast and quickly.I had full English and lady wife had American style pancakes etc It was simply wonderful everything done so nicely, such quality food, great service and at a reasonable price. What more could one ask, then to just join our ship for the adventure and thrill of a wonderful week on Lundy Life does not get much better!BLISS!"

Dropped in for lunch, just passing by, a nice comfortable feel. Staff very professional, good selection for lunch. Great food and portion size... spot on.

We enjoyed delicious smoothies and juices. Having water jugs available was excellent. The chose of meals was great. Ploughmans were particularly successful. The tuna wraps were nicely filled. Lovely place. View menu

Stoped here her a few times now and had breakfast this morning and the sausage and egg muffin was delicious. Nicely toasted and set us up for a day of walking. Staff are always very helpful and dogs are welcome inside and out.

Went in here immediately after it first opened and it was completely disorganised, with average food and poor service. We put it down to being recently opened and gave it another chance for breakfast recently. It's still disorganised and the service and cleanliness leave a lot to be desired i think it was probably cleaner when it was a kebab shop. Won't be giving it another chance.

Nice cafe on the quayside in Bideford. We enjoyed lunch in the sun sitting outside the front of the cafe in our first day in Bideford. The cafe was busy and service was a little slow, but lunch was good. We returned for breakfast on our 2nd day as for some bizarre reason our hotel stops doing breakfast early. Service was slightly slow as breakfast was freshly cooked no complaints. Food was tasty and good value. Would be happy to recommend. View menu

This place has wasted its potential. It could be good with the right management, but it is failing as it has poor quality coffee and tea.The standard of front of house housekeeping is dreadful. The floor seems only to be cleaned end of day, the tables are always sticky and even the seating needs a good clean removable covers on the cushions of the few chairs which have them would help, they could then wash the tomaton sauce and other stains off!

Went in for a latte with my mother and the queue stretched throughout the length of the cafe. There seemed to be insufficient staff for the volume of customers. It took 10 minutes to place my order at the bar and was told the latte would be brought outside when made. I'd already decided to opt for a cold coke and said I would take it from the fridge there and then and drink from the tin. It took a further 15 minutes for the latte to arrive. The menu was quite good, offering a wide variety of meals but I think they are being over ambitious to try and manage the customer/menu ratio on current cafe staffing levels
