"We stayed, two days at the inn and took a lunch, the inn not serving dinner in week off tourist season. The room is resolutely modern, tastefully decorated and offers modern and comfortable furniture. Cleanness is reproachless. Staff are coming and taking care of both the restaurant and the hotel. Concerning the restaurant, we tested the abracadabrant menu. It is in line with gourmet restaurants, congruous servings and culinary research. The flavours and inventiveness were at the rendezvous. With 5 hot dishes and such delicious bread, we went out of the table without feeling the syndrome of too small portions that is often criticized for these gastro or semi-gastron restaurants. For simpler menus, it is permissible that some people with good appetite can get a little frustrated. The relatively correct price for this type of benefit comes from the fact that the chef does not treat really luxurious basic products. His talent is expressed on slightly less noble components, which he does with talent. The really negative point is at the breakfast price. Nothing justifies charging 20€ for pastries, jams, fruit juice and local yogurt even if they are delicious."

Local products sublimated in beautiful plates. I took the Alchemist menu with the wine pair, and it was beautiful. A great culinary experience

Pretensions, but a finesse not at the rendezvous. The products used are good but the associations of flavors are to be reviewed. In the region, an address that clearly lacks subtlety For a gourmet restaurant, not at the level of its distinctions.

We loved the service and the dishes. A professional and smiling welcome, a very beautiful room, a top menu and cherry on the cake, a presentation and a waltz of taste in the plates. Bravo the leader and the whole team, don't change anything and you deserve the distinctions obtained. We'll be right back.

Very disappointing. The website of this hostel promises to surprise the customer! And this was the case for our dinner of 20/04/2019. If you have a classic appetite, go your way. We use samples because as the boss says, all dishes are grammar! Beautiful expression to justify the culinary taste of this inn. Everything is minimalist. Value for money very unfavourable... and the boss does not accept the truths.

Meals really salty, chef do you taste your dishes before sending? For a semi-gastronomic meal the taste is really not at the rendezvous, sometimes the salt really takes over the products especially fish and meat (even if they are salted home); You can avoid the salt flower! Fatty/fish liver associations are really not a good idea, given the size of the servings they are just mouthing. And to finish the addition she too and too salty... We will no longer return to your institution.

"Situated in a quaint red stone village in the valley of the Ady at the heart of the Marcillac wine region this restaurant is part of an old Auberge but has been renovated to provide a contemporary space with a cool pleasing ambience. We were...nicely greeted and shown to our table with our dog. Aperitifs were speedily offered together with menus. The menu of the day at 19 euros sounded good and we didn't want anything too heavy so gave it a whirl. The result was amazing a veal tartare with Asparagus Gaspachio and preserved celery was stunning. The follow up of Lieu with two sauces of light mushroom and pesto was excellent as were the accompanying crispy crepes containing a mushroom and shallot mix. To top it all the desert of a chocolate biscuit served with chocolate mousse, apple, coconut, crumble and topped off by rocket and radish sounds bizarre but was inspirational. A great wine selection of around 200 wines and some good ones by the glass as we were on the road. We chose the Dom Cauhape Jurancon 2016 for 7 euros a glass and it was , as all things are from that vigneron, top class. If you like ratafia then there are 5 or 6 varieties to choose from as well as an extensive range of other standard aperitifs and regional specialities. I can't believe we haven't been here before but this is now on the highly approved list although at 50 minutes away from us it is a little far for comfort unless one is tasting or buying Marcillac wine. Do visit the Cave de Valady when you are there it's only 300 yards away and has an excellent selection of wine. Next time we will try the next menu up which is 30 euros."
