"Came here for lunch because their special of the day looked appealing and there was a good amount of people dinning, so it seemed like a good choice. The waiter sat us down and it took about 30 minutes for him to come back and take our orders. We chose the avocado salad with shrimp, the mussels with fries & for dessert the yogurt with red fruits. It was about another 30 min until our food was ready. The salad was good, but the mussels contained a lot of sand in them, which was not fun to bite on..It made you not even want to finish your plate of food. The French Fries were pretty good though, you could tell they were freshly made, not frozen. The dessert was decent, nothing spectacular. There is only one waiter that works here per shift. He takes orders, brings food & drinks to the tables, makes drinks, deals with the bills and washes dishes. He seemed very overwhelmed the whole entire time. I'm sure service would have been better if he had help. After this experience I would rather go to one of the other restaurants in the area."

Came here because all other restaurants were Full. Had two menus of which the moussel menu was Not good and the drinks were very expensive- 6,50€ for the worst cappuccino that came after the desert. Coke for 5,50€... Not worth it. Would not go there again.

The avacado salate is a dream, the lamb steak was also the best one I have had and coming from Iceland where lamb is national speciality this is a great compliment. We were 4 and we paid 90 EUR which is incredibly fair price for what we got. This restaurant is a must go to place in my view.

The gaspacho of melon is serve in a big plate with a very small quantity 3 tablespoon and the avocado salade with a few leaves of salade, a few shrimps, ang little avocado. The salmon is a half of a piece with musk potatoes and one stick of courge. The menu is 14.90€ too expensive, doesn't worth to eat in this restaurant. Drinks also expensive. If you are hungry don't go the quantity is nothing.......

First the decor. You may be tempted to sit on the terrace but the decor inside will surprise you, it is so nice, a little art deco. Very nice, very comfortable. Service was perfect, kind and efficient. The food was really tasty! We had blood pudding and shrimp and gamba rissotto...the risotto was so good. Really creamy. My friend loved the blood pudding (i'll trust him, i'm not a fan). I'm thinking of going back before the end of my vacation. Really loved it.

My friend and I stood patiently outside this restaurant waiting to be approached by a member of staff. It was 21:30, the restaurant was busy but no other people were waiting and many tables were empty. A flustered angry waiter stormed passed us and barked ' We are full' and walked to the edge of the outdoor tables and lit a cigarette. Disgusted we walked away. We were treated like cockroaches not customers. Totally appalled considering it was a Saturday night and tables were available.

We dined here for lunch after walking along the Marche aux Poissons along the water. We ordered the Menu du Jour and were not disappointed. We started with a salad of avocado and local shrimps, had the fresh salmon over mashed potatoes (the best we have EVER had) and vegetables, and concluded with the Tarte Normande (apple tart). This was a fantastic meal, and we decided that our dinner later in the day would be a soup and salad since this was definitely the main meal of the day. We sat outside on the terrasse, and watched the world go by. Would definitely recommend!

We ate here this evening having seen what seemed a reasonable three course menu and wanting to eat early as the weather was dreadful. We were the first in the restaurant at 7pm and the waitress who came to serve us was curt , unsmiling and when we asked for a translation of the menu very unhelpful, merely saying that Colin was white fish. There was also a waiter who at least smiled occasionally. The food was very mediocre and although there were only four tables being served the service was slow and there was considerable noise of laughter and horse play from the kitchen. I should also mention that it was very cold in the restaurant.I would certainly recommend that they train their serving s...

We enjoyed a 3 course lunch from the 19 Euro menu on a warm bank holiday Monday. The terrace outside was busy, but we decided to avoid the bustle and sat inside. The old pictures, mirrors and light fittings add a lovely atmosphere, and give an impression of how similar restaurants must once have appeared. The tables were nicely laid with good glasses, and a carafe of water was supplied without question. Our fish soup starter was rather thin and lacking in flavour, but was served with the appropriate accompaniments, as well as warm, individual ciabatta rolls. The main course moules frites came disappointingly in bowls rather than mussel pots, but there were certainly plenty, though they were qu...
