"Corsica is not only the mountains, the sea and the climate, it is also the corses, their fraternity, their availability, their good mood and their attachment to their island. But on this island, in Aléria there is a paillote ‘Chez Mathieu’. There, on the beach, where destiny gave a gift, after the storm of 97, of a beautiful floated wood tree. This restaurant, almost on the water, is headed by Mathieu and Sabrina. On holiday on the island, we had the chance to discover this incredible establishment and this bright couple. The welcome is simply remarkable. The kitchen is amazing, almost gastronomic. We tasted giant gambas coming straight from local fishing accompanied by a Corsican wine at the height. If, during a passage, on the island you pass by Aléria, go to meet Sabrina and Mathieu, their establishment and their dream cuisine."
