"This restaurant was recommended by the receptionist in our hotel. She made a reservation for us. It appears that we were the only English-speaking people. The restaurant did not have an English menu. The interior was classy and modern. The restaurant is located near the Opera house. Very nice location. When it comes to food, we ordered the beef which was very tender and the grilled duck which was unfortunately was not so tender. The portion was good and it's enough to make you full. It is not like those fine dining restaurants where the portion for the main dish is so little. Here you would really get full.Only 1 waiter could speak English and the one who got our orders could not speak English that I gave up trying to understand him so I ended up ordering the duck because I recognize the word canard. I know duck is hard to make so I must say their chef just had a little mistake in making my duck. The beef however is superb and I noticed many people ordered the beef. So I recommend if you will eat in this restaurant, order the beef. It comes with a big slice of foie gras on top of the meat. They serve bread together with the dishes. For 2 main dishes, 2 glasses of wine and 2 cups of coffee, our bill was 60 euro which was a very reasonable price. I also noticed that a number of people ordered the crab with risotto so I suggest to try that. A glass of wine here costs 5 euro.Presentation of the food was excellent. I also noticed the Gaullt Millau 2012 sticker outside the restaurant. For tourists looking for finer dining experience, I think this is worth a try. I hope the management of this restaurant will make an English version of their menu and tell their waiters not to avoid eye-contact from english speaking customers. Well one 1 waiter did that however and I pity him. You can see his anxiety."
