"Le bar long is the Royal Monceau's bar and it's open to non guests of the hotel. I often go there on Friday evening to have a sip of an excellent cocktail and of the Parisian bling scene. The service is what you would expect in a palace : impeccable, I've been there many times and I never had to complain.I would recommend it for a drink and some tapas as a couple but we like to bring our 5 yo kid sometimes and they're kid friendly which is a nice addition. The cocktail list is impressive and they're all delicious (so far), the tapas on the menu are delicious, We'we tried them all, I would recommend the mini burgers :)Just by the taste of the olives and the nuts they bring along with your drinks you know the tapas will be good. If you don't feel like having a cocktail the wine and champagne selection by the glass is quite good.Be sure to get there early as it gets busy on weekends, in sunny days get there earlier to get a table outside :)"

But not the hottest bar in Paris (as I read somewhere). Cocktails are expensive 26 euro, very tasty, but not best I ever had. Truffle nuts a nice touch. View menu

Great bar with a buzzing atmosphere early evening. Subdued lighting adds to the ambience, a great spot for a drink before you had out into Paris for the evening.

Looked like a nice place, but the service in the lounge bar was simply bad. You think employees of the Raffles speak English in Paris ... ? Well, they try but it is realy poor and rather ... lets say rude 'parisian' style. The people in front of me got an excellent service though, speaking french.

i went there twice in the space of a weekend, the first time the bar was extremely busy on the Friday night and the service was a little slow but the staff was knowledgeable and attentive. The second time we came on a Sunday and the service was super fast, barman were helpful in guiding us with drinks. View menu

This is the third time in a row that I visited this bar (our office being nearby) with business partners and could not be seated due to poor queue management. We waited at the entrance as requested by the waiter who disappears while other people would just go in and grab seats (French way of queuing?) We finally left after 10mins of meaningless waiting. Avoid, there are much better hotel bars in the vicinity with better service (Peninsula, George V...). Downgrade in service probably as a result of the Accord touch kicking in... not Raffles standard.

Review only about the bar.I go to this bar very often for business and leisure. As the hotel is outside of the tracks (the golden triangle) I brought here a lot of people from New York, Monaco, Honk Kong. Well this week something strange happened. They changed some of the personnel and that stupid French habit came along. "Are you a guest of the hotel? All the tables are reserved" (but empty for the two hours while seating at the bar). I asked one of the old member of the personnel what's going on and he secretly said new policy of the house that will ruin us.Well keep up the good job, it's not bars that are missing in the very busy hotel business in Paris.
