"I am still not convinced that this place is one huge French joke but for whom I am not sure. The concept is intriguing, one fixed price menu( including wine). No choice. The service and explanations as to what was going on were first rate. The cooking less so. The starter of tomato salad was very good ( but how can you fail with local tomatoes). The main course of snails , fish and veg for dipping into the aioli less so.Snails, aioli and fish were fine The veg less so. However to make up for that one of the best cheese platters you will come across.I think in the end a good meal and the many French people in the restaurant appeared to be enjoying themselves."

Superb French Cuisine. Amazing ownership and staff who truly understand cuisine and service. This restaurant is a destination and worth the time to get there.

Great setting, great food (amazing cheese platter), great service and set under old plane trees. There is one set menu, like at home, with simple but well prepared dishes. And all this for a correct price. Book well in advance.

that's a perfect place to go to lunch. they sit in the open. choose the right day of the week; they serve an appetizer and a pornstar per day (or if picky a choice.) but whatever it will get will be a wonderful country tariff. day we were brilliant there. escargot and rabbit. unlimited cheese. do not jump on dessert.

My husband and I was visiting south of France and my daughter in law brought us there. We had roasted chicken with vegetable for lunch. The chicken was so delicious I wanted to go back again for more. We finished the meal with a wonderful...assorted cheese plater. I highly recommend you book ahead of time because it's very busy!

I can only agree with the reviews on this restaurant. The staff are so friendly and extremely competent. The food, we both had the foie gras for starters, very fresh. Then the only main course served, the poulet de bresse, truly delicious. Next came the impressive cheese board and to finish the rum baba. The wine is included in the price of the meal. A great experience.

this is what they want when visiting the Provence: eat that reflects the local cuisine, from clear fresh ingredients, served by a charming and cheerful group that are attentive, without clogging - and a fabulous wine list. I would come back here (really I would eat here. three times a week if I could. had the escargot (perfect , the huh (a signature court and deserves so, and the Marron-Gletscher dessert (as if it would be too much and it was not. .

We were a big family group - 10 - and loved dining outside under the tall plane trees. Cars speeding by made the young mothers nervous, however. The food, when it came, was good, especially the roast chicken, but it took forever to arrive. With a set menu, service shouldn't be as slow or as surly as it was. The prices were also higher than we'd expected from a previous visit. A lively scene, and great with a big group, but I doubt any of us will return.

"My birthday dinner at Cabro d'or, I thought it would be better for the price it costs. We want to spend an unforgettable birthday party in a privileged and idyllic setting. I did not like the atmosphere of the restaurant, to my cold and impersonal taste, the cold service team, cold waitresses and waitresses, they are not at the height of this renowned and high-end restaurant. Or has the warm welcome in France and the unbreakable service at the Baumaniere?! The quality of reception and service are well below, it is a shame. The cold reception, the cold and completely impersonal service, the not top outfits, the waitress learned by heart her text for the dishes, not a nice word, the smile is optional and forced... It is necessary to make efforts if you work in this kind of high-end establishment! Everything is served and unpacked very quickly, we think we want to get rid of us. It's stressful and not pleasant, we don't want to eat more. We can't enjoy our good gourmet menu quietly, and I already forgot what I ate, it was good but not more... The atmosphere of the cold restaurant didn't make me taste, enjoy my birthday party quietly. It was raining bcp, there were no parasols available to go to the car, my husband forced to return to look for umbrellas in the car, the parking lot is not next. We didn't have a good night. We're not tourists, we live in the region, and I'm disappointed, I'm sorry, but we're not going back to Cabro in gold."
