"Établissement visité pour la 3ème fois en.4 ans. Accueil charmant, service efficace et discret, cuisine succulente. Ce samedi 5 août 2023, j'ai choisi le menu 3 plats à 28 euros, comprenant un mille feuilles à la ganache de foie gras et chiquetaille de canard confit, un onglet sauce au poivre avec frites et salade et en guise de dessert, une excellente mousse au chocolat maison servie avec une feuille de caramel aux amandes hachées. Avec une sangria Vendéenne une bouteille de St Nicolas de Bourgeois et un café cela m'est revenu à 38 euros par personne. Chaque passage dans ce restaurant, digne de porter cette appellation, est un régal pour mes papilles. Je suis rassuré de constater qu'il reste encore en France des établissements de cette qualité. Je recommande encore cette année l' ESPADON."

"Excellent culinary experience in La Flora, and probably one of the best pizzerias in St-Jean de Monts. The pizza dough is fine and crispy, generous garnish, fresh and quality ingredients (fresh cap, dried tomatoes, and true burrata served whole, though too cold). Salads also well garnished with real ingredients worked (no lettuce abuse or other green leaves). Taste-rich Burgers with thick butcher steak. Nice service and rather fast despite the rush in summer. Consequence: the room can be noisy. Close terrace. Provide 20-25 euros per person. Recommendations (see Photos): Salade Grandioza, Italian Burger, summer pizza, beer Moretti. In the end, a restaurant that deserves multiple visits. 15/20"

"Like many we trusted the published opinions.... big mistake!Believe that in this summer there are only potatoes in vegetables... all the dishes were served with purée...that it is the butcher's play, the fish of the day, the eels even the 5 unhappy frogs were sprinkled on an easy purée to be restaurateur ... frogs that we come TROP CHER for purée, a restaurant that has declined in quality."

"Having had mussels in several places before here we were losing hope that we wouldn't get freshly cooked mussels and only served batch cooked and rubbery mussels. We had been a few places in Vendée and as Mussels are our favourite family food but we had been disappointed however on our last night we decided one last try and went here. Nothing but mussels on the menu we started to get excited. The mussels came out freshly cooked with delicious sauces and great fries. The kids loved their kids size Mussels too and deserts and coffee were great too. Lovely friendly service, very family friendly, they didn't speak English but not a problem and we tried our french and between us we got there in the end and it was a great evening. Great views of the sea, lovely decor and good prices."
