"we stayed in a nearby airbnb and the owner recommended this restaurant for dinner on the first night. dinner was served quickly, at a reasonable price and was delicious. we returned to this place 5 times more during our one-week stay! It was our first stop every morning for coffee and pastry. our server was fluent in French, English and Spanish and took the time to explain each item on the menu. He prepared a special hot chocolate for our two teenage girls and helped them with their French. coffees for adults were strong and served with hot milk. That was exactly what we needed before a long day tour. the menu here is eclectic and offers enough variety to satisfy the whole family. We had tuna steak, foie gras salad and beef tartar. All were excellent. the crowd here seems to be mainly composed of premises, but tourists will not feel intimidated or displaced. all servers are very helpful and friendly and want you to have fun. Even if you don't stay in the lourmel area, take Metro 8 and find this restaurant! food, atmosphere and staff are worth it."

We had the 50% off food offer. When the bill came there was no discount. When I challenged them, the bill came back with 15% off the food. I was referred to the manager who claimed that the discount would “never be 50%” despite me showing him my email confirmation. Eventually he got frustrated and said just pay €50. I knew we had to pay more so insisted that we paid what we should. I explained the money should come off the food only and we eventually got the correct bill.
