"We enjoyed our meal special occasion for our wedding anniversary. We were travelling by road all day and decided to book Le Chat Noir at the last minute, for a Sunday lunch. Prior to arriving, we called and asked if the restaurant could recommend a parking area or two as we were not locals. The person on the phone was almost impolite and not helpful at all. I took a 42 euros menu. The starter and dessert were of good quality and well presented, but the main dish I took (bouchée à la reine, a filling dish) was very average: the food presentation was not appetizing at all (looked like puke tbh). The taste was ok though. I wish some effort had been put for improving the presentation, for instance just a couple of leaves of chives would have improved it... My husband had a seafood platter and was happy both by its freshness and presentation. The service was good, but the male waiter had body odours which were unpleasant. Nothing that could not be prevented by a change of shirt and use of an antiperspirant. All in all the food was ok, but certainly not worth the bill we paid."

a sober framework without particular interest. efficient and fast service. The lobster like the lobster was perfect. Just like cooking lamb and beef fillets. On desserts, they were tasty. the choice of wines is correct with the prices in the high average. a good table we recommend

A lack of originality in the imposed menu of Mother’s Day We find the foie gras and turnips in the two imposed dishes and when unfortunately we don’t like either of them .... Basic Dessert I knew much better in this limited service establishment also In conclusion: rather disappointing!!!

C is located on a street near the train station. We were for dinner in the private room terrace, veranda. The entrance of the very retro restaurant and interior bistro style. The interior a little dark to my taste. A French cuisine. A warm welcome. The foie gras menu chutney , very good fish very tasteful, well prepared on the other hand the lamb too cooked, dessert Genoese red fruit accompaniment of champagne drinks especially extra wines.

The Chat Noir restaurant in Metz is a remarkable establishment with excellent service, traditional food, and an exceptional selection of wine and cheese. The restaurant has earned a reputation for serving exceptional fish dishes that are expertly prepared and served to perfection. Furthermore, the wine list, which includes a variety of inexpensive and high-quality wines by the glass, is particularly impressive. The highlights of the menu are the cheese platters, which are meticulously arranged with exceptional cheeses that are sure to satisfy even the most discerning of palates. In conclusion, the Chat Noir restaurant is a must-visit dining destination in Metz for those who appreciate except...
