"We enjoyed our meal special occasion for our wedding anniversary. We were travelling by road all day and decided to book Le Chat Noir at the last minute, for a Sunday lunch. Prior to arriving, we called and asked if the restaurant could recommend a parking area or two as we were not locals. The person on the phone was almost impolite and not helpful at all. I took a 42 euros menu. The starter and dessert were of good quality and well presented, but the main dish I took (bouchée à la reine, a filling dish) was very average: the food presentation was not appetizing at all (looked like puke tbh). The taste was ok though. I wish some effort had been put for improving the presentation, for instance just a couple of leaves of chives would have improved it... My husband had a seafood platter and was happy both by its freshness and presentation. The service was good, but the male waiter had body odours which were unpleasant. Nothing that could not be prevented by a change of shirt and use of an antiperspirant. All in all the food was ok, but certainly not worth the bill we paid."
