"because we live in chin, we try to visit most restaurants here. we stopped to pee for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by food, atmosphere and service. I ordered the scalopina mentonese and it was like a journey beyond the Italian border. the portion was large and with a glass of red wine from the house, it filled me for the rest of the day. the server was very friendly and explained all the dishes. It was about 20 euros for my meal. I sat inside and the smells of the kitchen were wonderful. This one is a guard and should not be missed."

a cold gnocci dish. a dish of cold pasta with badly cooked lardon. We waited 25 minutes before we were served. Too bad, we're at the seaside, beautiful, very friendly boss but the waitress doesn't speak French.

the restaurant overlooks the seafront and the rooms are well maintained. Too bad that even inside the room it was pretty cold. The kitchen is of good quality, the hamburger fassona, fresh pasta with seafood and the hot bread just out of the oven are discreet. I expected something more from the seafood dish.

crossing the coast, we decided to stop in this little corner of chin inspired by the name! very good reception, we quickly understood that it wasn't laughing, everyone was well Italian and especially the south, nice atmosphere! Finally very good dinner with exellent products, pizza and pasta as good as italia! Not to miss.

we are residized to chin and I'm sorry to see that comments consider it a tourist trap. in this restaurant we were entitled to a very good reception with very friendly staff, good burger and very good pizza. our server can advise us on dishes and wine. prices are correct for a good meal. We have had two good evenings at the trepi and we will be happy to return. View menu

When I came back from a long walk to chin, I went through a very peppi. I was too hungry, the restaurant looked and felt good, so I got in pretty good condition that I was invited to dinner, so I should be careful. a huge plate with freshly prepared gnocchis with a fresh tomato sauce and parmesan arrived smoking! extremely tasty! I paid only 16 euros and believe me the portion was for two!! Great lunch!

Second visit to this restaurant during our chin passages. the frame is pleasant inside, white walls, zen and cleaned decor, comfortable seating and. no music, which is rare and so much more pleasant (the good music is the one you choose). reception and service are very friendly, in French or Italian. Pizzas are divine. finally real pizzas to the Neapolitan! it seems that the cook is Neapolitan. That makes a difference!

"the location was attractive. a small picturesque square slightly in draw with a foliage and Mediterranean charm. the restaurant had an outdoor terrace but we decided to eat inside. rustic decoration well maintained. abundance of natural stones and plaster walls of rustic color, nice vaulted type ceiling and terracotta tile floor. We loved him. the kitchen was visible on the path of the toilet and everything seemed chief, busy and good omen. Unfortunately, it's the end of the good news. My wife chose to start with the anchovies leaf and I am the raw ham. The anchovie was not good. Very strange flavor. Too salty. hard dough background. My ham was cut too thick, making the meal difficult. I had to ask for olive oil and gem salt. certainly not the best ham I've had. no comparison with parma or iberico. disappointing. the main dishes were the fish pot and the spaghetti with ceps. Both were a disaster. The fish were cut off. filled with small but important bones. the two rather sad gambas were small and boiled to death. the portion of fish and the quality at the price were bad. Maybe the bisque was swept. The pasta was not good and we left them. we paid 72 euros for this and a very small glass of medium wine and a bottle of flat water. I think chin food is usually not good. French are rather complacent and seem to believe that their historical reputation is enough. Not if. the area is very frequented by tourists and I guess most are unlikely to return to the area, so they think they can get away with it. It's a shame and I couldn't recommend this restaurant. we visit the family regularly to chin, so we would like to find a decent restaurant at a reasonable price. even our family seems to have a bad time. Why? It's the france."

"Casarella used to be a Corsican restaurant. It is located in the old Roquebrune village and is a quiet and nice location, although not accessible by car.It has been sold a few months ago, and has reincarnated itself in an Italian restaurant, more precisely Neapolitan.I decided to give it a try after a friend's advice.Being an Italian, I am often wary of Italian restaurants abroad, but I went along and gave it a try. What I found was a typical Neapolitan menu, with the addition of a few other Italian classics (carbonara, pesto). We tried several things and were surprised by the quality. The pasta was impeccably cooked, the sauces were made with the best Neapolitan tomatoes, the grilled mozzarella was fresh.Even the carbonara, although not a Neapolitan dish, was faultless. We then carried on trying the meatballs (polpette), and found them to be exquisite. We then tried a Pastiera Napoletana which is a difficult dessert to prepare, and one of my favorites. It was perfectly executed. We were then offered a limoncello (lemon based sweet liquor) and found it thick enough to be the real thing, and not a usual washed out imitation.Prices were more than reasonable and quality and service were faultless. The wine list was quite correct and the wines are listed at reasonable prices.Congratulations to the chef and the team for what they did. It is not easy to open a restaurant in a medieval village: cars cannot access it, it is difficult to carry groceries and to receive deliveries. They were courageous to open in such a location, and in my book, they deserve the praise."
