I've been coming to the Clem for 20 years. It has changed over time, of course, but I invariably find it welcoming and the meals delicious. I always have oysters, which are the best you will find anywhere. It's not cheap, but good food rarely is. A rare example of authentic non-chain France.

How this brasserie is languishing at 30/121 in La Roche is beyond me. The new management have sorted the problems and it serves food that is very good brasserie quality and nowadays it is safer to book if you want to get in. Certainly this is essential at the weekend. Being nearly a local these days I doubt you will do better in the town

I went three times, 1st time with my boyfriend and second with my mum, third with my sister. I suggest taking a menu. 23€ or 29€ per person; starter/ main course and dessert. It is worth it. At lunch they also have another menu 17€ starter/main course/ dessert. The same price as my salmon tartar. As regarding to service, they were always busy (I went twice for dinner and once for lunch). So waiters don't have much time. (I think they must be understaffed). There where even waiters who were running (Could be a danger to staff and clients).
