"A perfect restaurant!! Extremely well cooked food, super tasty, perfect presentation, nice, warm staff (Tiffany) and cozy feel to it. We called and reserved a table the same day, 2 families with 4 kids total, no problem! The chef made mashed potatoes and some nice pieces of lamb with a really nice gravy. While taking the order, Tiffany excused herself and served the other tables - she pretty much did it ALL!! I didn't see any other staff!! She was very observant and listened carefully even if she did 3 things at once! The food was so good that we almost stayed one more night just to try everything in the menu! Be patient! Understand that this is a small restaurant that will take care of you, but it might take some time. If your stressed - help serving tables in stead of being irritated! This restaurant is so cheap that if you don't tip A LOT - it will be embarrassing!! Go there!!"

Good restaurant, very good dessert. Fine kitchen, good service. Not intimate enough, one on the other.

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal at Le Comptoir. All four of us had the set price 3 course option. Food, atmosphere and service were wonderful.

A small and cosy restaurant with an excellent if small menu, the service was first class and the ambience was excellent. If you are in Antibes I would highly recommend a visit View menu

lovely food, not big portions but enough. Good service. Beware some of the starters carry a supplement which isn't made clear when the menu is presented, nevetheless it didn't detract too much from the experience.

Very good cuisine ,good flavor , controlled cooking quality products, great professional in kitchen. Location atypical fast service. A little disappointed by the quantites, a little high quantity/price ratio. Although the place is atypical, there are some bad odors.

A really great culinary experience! The recommended menu was delicious, especially tuna, it was perfectly prepared. The service was very kind and attentive. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We had a nice evening and we'll be back! (Book a table so you are sure to have room for the same day. View menu

We have had wonderful meals in Antibes! Le Comptoir was our final one. We chose the 3 selection option which was just right. My husband selected the lamb as his main course-- it was a generous serving. I opted for the veal which was presented very prettily and was very good but short on the veal. Service was excellent and nice environment. You won't be disappointed if you choose to eat here.

Friends had told me about this restaurant and I finally got there. From the outside, it doesn't look like much but step inside and you enter an ambiance designed for your dining pleasure. Simple menu options are presented on a blackboard and the meal is interspersed with special treats--a house cocktail, an amuse bouche (ours was fabulous). It was enjoyable all around and the service was also friendly, helpful but not smothering--just right. It will definitely be on my list next time I'm in Antibes.

"In this location, surrounded as it is with large restaurants spilling out onto the pavement with their me-too menus of les pizzas and pâtes and overly familiar sounding meals, it is most unexpected to find a bespoke and personal restaurant offering a fine selection of dishes cooked with care. The menu, described appropriately as the 'carte du moment' presents a mercifully small number of seasonal and therefore changing entrées, plats and desserts. However, it is still hard to choose. Each one is enticing, interesting and original with the promise of flavours, combinations of ingredients and textures, without tricks and unnecessary embellishment. For a large number, a selection of all the entrées as share dishes makes a lot of sense. Everyone gets a taste of something and the difficulty of having to choose is avoided. For the plats, a single selection is best with pork, duck, tuna and salmon along with risotto as options on the night we were there. A fine burger also available is perhaps a concession to the location and, actually, a very fine dish. Four desserts are offered with each one tempting and beautifully prepared. Another selection for the table is highly recommended. The wine list is adequate and the ambiance works for lone dining as well as for a larger and more raucous group. The service is smiling and efficient as well as courteous. This is a place to make a favourite. The risk to this reviewer is that it will become deservedly highly popular and impossible for last minute bookings."
