"We were about to drive to the coast when my son pulled up in what appeared to be a residential estate and told me we were stopping for breakfast. Around the corner and literally on a corner was this unpretentious but scrupulously clean cafe with a scrubbed wooden floor and tables. Top of the list on the menu was a full English breakfast at 8.50 pounds including sour dough toasted bread, poached egg, hash brown, tomatoes, and real streaky bacon with beans. You can't resist that can you, and it hit the spot keeping us going til late lunch at 3pm, although I did find the hash brown a bit greasy, although maybe I always do. Tea was delicious too. They do have other options, including a veggie breakfast. If you're in the area, well worth a visit"

Small place but a comfy cafe and the cakes are great. Bread is pricey but also good. Also has outdoor seating.

Bustling little cafe with a lovely menu and incredibly friendly staff. The poached eggs and smoked salmon is my favourite.

This is a great little cafe just off Brixton Hill. The food is excellent.. especially the hash browns, tomatoes and home made bread. The owner is really friendly and will go out of his way to give you what you want. Really nice cakes too! View menu

Me and my partner popped in for a spot of breakfast in this tucked away cafe and what gem of a place we found! The vegetarian breakfast was delicious perfectly prepared and the coffee was a delight as well. The proprietor was a cheerful and friendly chap too.

This is one of the rare gems of Brixton. Hidden away but very busy and the food is amazing! We often go there for brunch and coffee with pastry. Stefan and his staff are always very friendly and will definitely make you feel welcome. Big plus is that this place is dog friendly! Thank you for being there for us!

Located at the south end of Brixton Hill, Le Daily Corner is a charming cafe where you can enjoy coffee and pastries with friends, grab a latte on the run, indulge in a satisfying brunch, or savor a delicious lunch of salads or generously filled sandwiches. The welcoming staff contribute to the warm and inviting atmosphere of this neighborhood cafe, which also has a touch of artistic flair. View menu

My first visit here although my daughter has visited. What a little treasure!! The home made quiche had melt in the mouth pastry and came with a great salad. My pot of tea came with free top ups. The owner is such a lovely, lovely man who is happy to chat about the food he prepares and his place in general and life (with the most listenable accent! . One of THE MOST WELCOMING places I’ve been to. Just a shame this is in South London and I live in Kent. Wish this great eateries was at the end of my road.

My third visit, but nearly 5 months since I last passed through the front door. I'm happy to say nothing has changed. The food is excellent and the service efficient, friendly and certainly not pushy. Went for the breakfast special (again) and it was great, fresh orange, delicious coffee, light buttery croissant and a roll with the most perfect poached egg and grilled sausage. At £10.50 excellent value for the quality. My only negative comment is that this cafe restaurant is a little too far from my home or place of work !
