"My husband and I went to this restaurant with his sister and parents, we were five. There were 2 waiters and it took about 5 minutes to come and take our coats, which I found a bit long for a smallish restaurant like Diwane. Both...of the waiters were stressed and running around. Once we ordered 12 mezze dishes, we were served dishes progressively, which was fine. We asked for a water pitcher and never received it. When the first batch of mezzes came, we had not been served any bread. We asked for it and had 6 small pieces (triangles) of bread served. When I asked for more straight away (as we were 5), the lady (we think she was the owner's spouse) told us that the bread is served in this size so its stays warm and that they keep an eye on our table to replenish as soon as we finish the batch. Unfortunately, we had to ask and wait every time our bread was finished a very unpleasant experience. over, this same lady was falling sick or something and she was coughing into her hand and then touching plates to serve guests without washing them. The owner of the restaurant was also there and didn't seem very happy with his team as he was constantly criticising/scolding the waiters and we could even hear him from the kitchen. The great thing about this restaurant is its food fresh and delicious. We especially liked the moutabal, hummus (don't take the spicy one as it's not spicy at all), foul moudamas, grilled haloumi and taboulé."

For me, this is probably Geneva's best lebanese. And the service and prices are correct. You can tell the boss is also the owner by the way he cares about all details.

Clean and in an acceptable area. Menue typical for the region. Prices at the end (once you add up) rather on the high side. Service very good if the owner serves you - otherwise rather long and unpleasant. Nice little terrasse. View menu

This wasn't awful. But it wasn't any good either. Geneva is full of restaurants serving over-priced, distinctly average food in atmosphere-less establishments that haven't been renovated in a few decades. This is one of them. Oh, and the service was surly and without pleasantry. This place wouldn't last 5 minutes in most cities but somehow in Geneva they keep going, which is a mystery.

Worst Lebanese restaurant ever in my life!!! Pls avoid at all cost!! -1. The price was increased quite alot from what I saw on the fork app. -2. Ordered two main dish for me and my bf, and we were so shocked cuz it’s just plain rice meat! So tasteless, dry and just ridiculous! Asked if they have any sauce because it was too difficult to eat, and they said we have to order extra sauce which is like another 10 chf more because their sauce is listed in the appetizer session. Such a rip off! -When we asked why the dish does not come with the sauce like we saw in the restaurant’s picture, they had the audacity to tell us that this is Lebanese cuisine! Ridiculous!
