a small restaurant nestled in beautifulville. a warm welcome and typical dishes. delicious pimented fish soup with coconut balls in dessert. a summary frame that can be depleted if you are looking for something cossu.

Belleville is rife with cookie cutter Asian restaurants of all types. This one is different. Just down from the Belleville metro, come here for shrimp cooked with tea leaves, Shanghai style soup dumplings and ESPECIALLY the chopped on the bone lamb with chili and garlic. Dericious.

I can here for shorompo. But it was just usual European thick ravioli. Mabotofu was very lucid and taste was weak. The only good dish was with eggplant. So yes, it's better than other so-called Chinese shoronpo shops, but still very mediocre. Not a wow-i-need-to-be-here kind of a restaurant. Plus the area is exotic for most tourists, eg don't come here at night.
