We loved the flowers, the cold drinks, the views and the excellent service which is not a given in this touristy town. We ate inside the hotel, not in the garden restaurant.

A lovely setting for enjoying good food and German beer! You can have a meal, a snack or coffee and cake, or just enjoy a drink in very pleasant surroundings. The staff are great. View menu

Whilst staying over at Boppard for three days we frequented Le Jardin on a number of occasions. Either for a beer or glass of wine and once also for a plate with local snacks. And attended to by friendly and helpful staff.

Wie der Name sagt sorgen viele Blumen in den Pavillions für eine Garten-Atmosphäre. Gut bürgerliche Speisekarte. Die Platte mit lokalen Spezialitäten schmeckt gut auch die Salate. Der Schokoladeneisbecher weniger. Guter freundlicher Service und toller Blick auf den Rhein von schattigen Plätzen.

We had a great meal at this restaurant. we were on a tour with European Castle Tours Astrid Bauer. Our tour guide was Barbara and she was an excellent guide. Got us to our destinations on time and was a very informative tour guide. All our meals were included and every place we went we had a great meal. Highly recommend this tour company. View menu

Von außen ein gepflegtes altehrwürdiges Hotel. Die Mitarbeiter freundlich. Sehr schöne Terrasse mit vielen Blumen direkt am Rhein. Die Preise akzeptabel, denn man muss natürlich die Atmosphäre mit bezahlen.Einzige Manko während meines Besuches war die Herren Toilette, welche nicht sehr sauber war und einem ein unangenehmer Geruch in die Nase stieg.

This is open from morning until 11pm. You can order a coffee, beer, wine, food - what ever you fancy. The service is a little slow, however you're on holiday - what's The rush - just people watch, read a book and enjoy the river activities. The daily salad was lovely and big enough to share between 2 for lunch. Wine is served in a small caraf which is lovely, it's like a large glass of wine. Beautiful setting, in a fabulous location

If you can get a riverside table, they could serve poor food badly and it would still be a good place to have lunch. Thankfully the food and service were OK and at €40 for two it was an absolute bargain. Service was by any measure on the slow side, unsmiling and I would have expected the food to have been freshly cooked, not reheated e.g the wurst and saute potatoes. It certainly was not hot enough and nobody bothered to check satisfaction during our meal. As a wonderful location to have lunch we would definitely return but not just for the food and service.
