"Any fan of the ever rarer true French cuisine should not pass up the Andouliette sausage. A warning this is not to everyone's taste. The texture can be tough and the smell rather strong of offal. This cannot be said off the duck Andouliette that I had at Le Montreize in Vichy. When I enquired further I was informed that their produce was made tro order by a specialist local butcher. The duck Andouliette is much smoother to the pure pork counterpart. Still quite pungent but yummy none the less. Let's turn the focus onto the crepes both the savoury and sweet options are first rate and recommended. Prices are reasonable but a special mention to our waitress who was very helpful ion walking us through the menu options."

Une excellente adresse, tout était parfait : le repas excellent, l'accueil adorable, la serveuse était aux petits soins malgré une salle pleine...Un excellent restaurant où nous reviendrons.

This restaurant was a great find, around the corner from our hotel. The food was excellent. The service was with a smile. The wine was local as were the general punters. Good price as well. Worth the visit.

Bonne cuisine avec produits de qualité mais on aurait aimé plus de choix quant à la cuisine locale ... Il faisait au moins 25 degrés et on aurait apprécié encore plus le dîner si la climatisation avait mise en fonction.

Restaurant trés calme , un peu à l'écart dans le vieux Vichy...Burger maison à tomber , truffade saucisse de pays impeccable et servi trés largement , bref de bons plats de bonne qualité et bien garni.Enfin personnel trés chaleureux et souriant...Tres bonne adresse

Piccolo e delizioso ristorante,si viene avvolti dal bellissimo colore Rosa Prada delle pareti.11 tavoli con sedie semplici ma molto comode.Il personale e' gentile e sorridente.Lo chef e' una donna che ama cucinare,piatti semplicie deliziosi,anche i dessert sono ottimi.Un bel ricordo.....! Another must visit restaurant in Vichy. This was our second after two years and it is still a little treasure. We recommend that you book, especially on a Monday, as many other restaurants are closed, and also try and go a little earlier than normal say 6.30/7.00. It can get busy and there can be delays in your food arriving however whatever you order it will be worth it. The burgers (local variation definitely not your typical ones) are a must. We will return.

Lors d'un séjour chez des amis dans la région, nous sommes allés diner au Montreize que nos amis affectionnent. J'ai découvert la truffade (plat à base de pomme de terre et de fromage) que j'ai trouvé très bon, je l'ai pris avec du jambon de pays (la truffade étant un peu fade le mélange est parfait). D'autres ont pris le hamburger auvergnat et se sont régalés. Le service et l'accueil sont agréables.Les plats sont à 15€ je n'ai pas pris de dessert le plat est très copieux.

Le restaurant est agréable. Les plats sont copieux, et délicieux. Bon rapport qualité/prix. Nous avions pris de la truffade, c'était succulent. Le canard et le hamburger rossini étaient également parfaits. Les desserts sont classiques : glace, profiteroles, pain perdu, crêpes. Mais succulents. Je recommande sans hésiter. Le personnel est agréable et sympathique. NB, ce sont des produits frais cuisinés à la demande, ne pas s'attendre à un service rapide. Mais c'est ce qui fait le charme.
