"The atmosphere and decor was extremely relaxing and pleasant. We were given a seat outdoors and the waiter was very helpful, translating each dish into English. We opted for three courses and a bottle of red wine. The wine came to 35 euros so we were a little surprised when the waiter had already opened the bottle before showing us it. He had also misinformed us of the year, right after having stated that there was no wine list.. HE WAS infact THE WINE LIST!.From that point onwards, things seemed to take a turn for the worst and the point to be made here is that the food was disappointing, especially for the high price, but it really was the lack of care when we expressed our disappointment, which really made us feel the need to write this bad review. In fact, THE WAITER RECOMMENDED we write a bad review and never return. This apparently was the only option available, as a refund or a simple apology was not so readily available...So to summarise: the meat was under cooked - the veal was very rare. The starter I had with aubergine and tentacles was greasy and over cooked. The puddings were terrible - like a can of peaches poured into a big bowl, with cream and nutmeg poured on top. It resembled a bowl of dish water and didnt taste much better. A very expensive meal for poor food. We were told the reason we were not happy was because we were English and expected something different. We were also told that it is not French culture to complain when you feel as if your food is sub-standard. The 'waitress' who came to collect our money took our concerns very personally and started talking about the cost of hiring staff, the hours she worked etc. It turned out she was actually THE OWNER! .. but did nothing to make us happy. An apology in the first instance would have been welcome, but this was just not something she was willing offer.I have been to many nice restaurants (where you'd spend over 100 euros for two people) to compare the standard to and this just isn't one of those places. Perhaps this restaurant isn't for the English?"

A great friendly place, in a quiet street, with quality dishes. The boss and his team are very welcoming. You can go with your eyes closed.

We enjoyed lunch at this small restaurant just 200 metres from the Carmes market. The food is obviously prepared with care and good quality ingredients. Service was friendly and efficient.

Here are the classics of French restoration, revisited and modernized by a team with small care for its customers. Very warm and friendly. A must-see address not to be missed in the pink city.

Very good dinner outside a historic building, next to yet another romanesque church. Superb grilled pork starter. Excellent fish (cabillaud) dish, and very good veal. Amazing for a 20 year old chef. Chocolate Mousse was good. Choice of wines by the glass, though none great.Helpful staff with enough English to get by.Too much smoking as always.

I had an exceptional experience at Le Nez Rouge restaurant. The warm atmosphere and elegant decor created a perfect atmosphere for a special evening. The service was attentive and courteous, and the wine map was impressive. As far as food is concerned, each dish was a delicious work of culinary art. I particularly enjoyed the beef filet, which was tender and tasty to wish. The desserts were just as delicious. It's really a place where I'll be back with pleasure to celebrate other special occasions.

"It was very very good! For drinks we had a homemade lemonade and a Hibiscus/mint iced tea (it really reminds us of bissap) which were very good. The beef mandu (dumplings) were incredible!!!! We loved it. The fried chicken was very good and plentiful for the price and accompanied by fresh radish pickles. The shredded beef bao was delicious clearly. The tteokbokki were really excellent, delicious and precisely spicy. The crispy salmon was not bad but too salty for my taste to titillate. The hotteok for dessert was very good. I would have liked the black sesame ice cream too but we didn't have any more room...that will be for next time. The presentation of the dishes is careful. The score is 50th for 2 knowing that we ate a lot. The staff are lovely and very helpful. There was a bit of a wait but it didn't bother us. Remember to book if possible because it gets crowded. Especially if you are a group. Afterwards we came without a reservation and were still able to eat. I recommend. For me the best Korean in Toulouse that I have tried for the moment (even if perhaps not pure tradition) with the P'tit Louis in St Cyp but which is only open at lunchtime. For the bibimbap I can't say we haven't tried it yet.
