"A very special place. Very old style Les Halles bar for lunch or drinks. Robust locals full of character and very special, real French food.. their quiche tastes like it was made in the home of a beloved French Godmother. It's often hard to not order the escalope of veal or the entrecôte with blue cheese sauce. Everything is typical French. The staff are sharp and friendly in a Parisian way. This is one of my favourite places for much on this planet.there are outdoor tables in the sun but I always prefer to be inside and observe the very interesting locals at the bar. One of my favourite starters in Herrings with warm potatoes. A French classic. Also rillettes - very French but not for the faint hearted. If you have ever loved and lived in France, This is for you"

Amazing place and great service. Delicious French food. We had Hachis Parmentier and Quiche Lorraine - very happy with our meals!

In één woord; geweldig!

A knockout. My wife and I's first pit stop of many during our time in Paris, and what a wonderful start to our break. Oddly, the fact that it had just started raining made it even cozier, and a quick bite of lunch turned into nearly 2 hours. My wife had the set lunch, I had a pate baguette, and although simply prepared our food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended, and the guy (drinks) and lady (waitressing) were extremely friendly.

We found this small restaurant 5 years ago. We return annually and always visit for lunch a couple of times. Tables inside and out with large umbrellas and awnings to allow seating rain or shine. The homemade food is very good. We love their escalope veal and many of their daily specials. They also have wonderful desserts, especially the chocolate mousse. The staff is very friendly and will help you if you don't speak French. Lots of locals here. Small bar with charcuterie also. Great spot to people watch as a metro entry is here.
