"We have used L' Albatross for the last couple of years during the kite festival at Berck sur Mer and have yet to be disappointed. It may not be fine dining, hence 4*, but what is served is very tasty and excellent value for money. The staff are always friendly and will try and accommodate you and and special requests. You only have to look inside to see a packed house to gauge that the numbers of users, many repeat customers like us cannot be wrong about this little gem of an eating house. Recommend that you make a reservation to avoid disappointment."

"however the staff was very friendly and nice we got both sick after the dinner. We ordered 1 pizza (4 fromages) and 1 pizza with chicken and pineapple (the hawai variant) but it has another name on the menu. Place to avoid!!!"

"Au déjeuner en semaine au mois d'août. Très bien pour l'accueil, le choix des formules et des plats à la carte. Excellents vins au verre. Le tout pour un tarif remarquable au regard de la qualité/quantité et de la fraîcheur des plats. Grand et beau jardin terrasse en été quand le temps s'y prête. Le soleil était au rendez-vous et on a pu apprécier de manger sur le gazon et sous le parasol. Le bémol : La lenteur du service au sujet duquel le personnel s'est excusé à deux reprises après ma réclamation. L'explication des plats maison et la préparation nécessaire en cuisine n'explique certainement pas tout : Arrivés à 12h40, nous sommes sortis à 15h30 (Apéritif, entrée, plat, dessert) 1h30 d'attente entre l'entrée et le plat principal.. (On a le temps de regarder l'heure en pareil cas) Pourtant les serveurs étaient compétents, efficaces et ne chomaient pas. Seulement, lorsqu'on remplit deux espaces restauration (Salle intérieure et jardin) on doit anticiper le personnel en conséquence. Pour cette raison je voulais noter "Moyen" mais ce serait injuste au regard de la gentillesse du personnel et de la qualité de la restauration."

"We dropped in last sunday lunchtime having nosed around the braderie in Berck. We had not booked but the host explained that they would have a table free if we were prepared to wait 5 minutes. All the staff were pleasant and welcoming and we were offered a small bread plate with titbits while we waited.The menu was presented with a good selection of dishes so there was no necessity for selections from the a la carte menu. My wife had the charcuterie while I had the selection of melon. For main course we both enjoyed the steak choice with dauphinoise potatoes.Desert for me was the Pear Belle Helene while my wife had her favourite Cafe Legions.Overall a thoroughly enjoyable place to stop over for lunch. Helpful and friendly staff."

"New experience, always as perfect... In Berck beach we often focus on the restaurants of the seaside or the city center, but there it really is worth getting away a bit. The dishes were very well prepared, very good with quality products, with a careful presentation. To be recommended."
