"My wife and I found ourselves looking for somewhere for a light lunch after a serious food and wine week in Burgundy. Le quai fit the bill, it did not look like an overgrown fast food place like some of the others, it had a nice and simple blackboard of seafood and a few meat dishes, a blackboard for wines and a blackboard for desserts. Service was amiable and prompt, the view of the port very attractive. We had fish soup, nothing special, and langoustines and oysters - nothing amazingly different just good, fresh seafood, well presented."

We visited this well located restaurant with our son and family. The service was slow and the food was overpriced and not that good.

Good fresh seafood, with plats du jour on the blackboard every day depending on the catch. Always busy but service is excellent. A bit pricy, but good seafood always is.

Good wholesome portions. Fish soup was gorgeous and the crevettes huge. For main course we recommend the monkfish and scallop gratin. Also the crevette with nut sauce. Stunning food. The staff were excellent as our French is poor but they also made our dog very...welcomed. Definitely returning again

Very French in style by the quai. Location great. Our Moules et frite came out fast and was not bad but not great... reasonable prices for location. The service was average by the two young men attending the tables. Initially had rock music playing on sound system but after a while as more guests arrived they switched to quieter music. Would not go back ina hurry.

As well as the food being delicious here, the service was excellent even though the restaurant was busy. Currently, I’m learning French and the waiters were very helpful and patient with this and were more than happy to help me out with the language. I’m...really pleased with the attitude of the staff and the quality of the food. I would highly recommend this restaurant!!

The plat du jour was amazingly good (ordered once I'd figured out what it was the waitress was happy to explain the Breton word for squid! , as were the other three mains of sole and steaks. As for dessert: Café Gourmand consisted of a...profiterole, a sort of panna cotta with a raspberry coulis, a tiny creme brulee and a large portion of Chantilly. Yum! Will be sure to visit again next time we're in the area.

we ate here twice at our recent visit to carnac and at a previous visit in 2018. at all 3 locations, the food was excellent and the staff went out to speak with us in English and explain the menu. we ate as a family of 5 2 adults and 3 children . if they like seafood, they will be in the sky, but they also do a fantastic filet steak! the half covered terrace with views of the marina is beautiful. highly recommended.

We've been here as a family four times now, it's always good. It's got a buzzing, busy atmosphere and the food is delicious. It's small and gets super busy so don't expect lots of space or loads of attention but it is a fabulous French restaurant. Everything we have chosen on the menu is delicious, oysters, steak, mussels, the Creme brûlée for pud is very lovely too.Authentic French experience, great location on the quay, fantastic!!

no bookings are made, but if they are ready to wait on the bank opposite, then they will be as soon as possible. the outside area is preferred, since inside is very hot and the street tables are loud. the service is excellent and. all menus are on board the walls. one or two of the employees speak English, but it is better if they can speak French. eating is well cooked and our favorites were the fillet and the crème brulee, which probably the best in france.
