"We arrived one Tuesday for lunch and sat outside under the trees. I had heard a lot about the Relais and was looking forward to our lunch. The menu du jour had two choices for the main - pork with mustard (neither of which I eat) and chicken cooked in a tajine with lemon, olives and cous cous. We went for the chicken. I was uncertain about having a buffet for my starter, but the selection was fresh, varied and tasty - I went for a variety of different vegetables and salads, my husband was a bit more adventurous. After our start the chicken was superb, full of flavour and very filling. Next the cheese then desert - a lovely home made tart, it was wonderful. My only two small irritations - I dislike buffets where items aren't labelled - its ok on veggies as you can see what they are, but on other items this is annoying. The other thing - the outdoor table and chair legs could do with a wash - I was wearing white jeans and had to be very careful about where I put my legs. Would I return - you bet. The food, the atmosphere combined with the very friendly staff (owners) and exception value (€12.90 per person including wine) make this a place to return to."

We've had some great celebration and get-together lunches here plus a few Sunday lunches and it's always been really enjoyable. The food has been excellent and owners are great hosts and have always gone out of their way to make the occasions special.

Fabulous food from Natacha the chef at this restaurant which is the best for miles around. Our second visit for lunch this week. so friendly and accommodating and excellent value. The lunchtime menu is fantastic. Stuffed again. Merci beaucoup Natacha et Olivier. XxX

I went today with friends for lunch - they had no warning that I don't eat meat, and both main courses were meat... immediately offered fish, really tasty and juicy, delicious. And that was as well as soup, hors d'œuvre, cheese, gorgeous lemon meringue cheesecake, plus wine and coffee! Brilliant food and service - no wonder it was packed on a Wednesday lunch-time!

This is a really great restaurant, I have visited 5 times in the last 6 weeks with friends and family. It has been consistently good the food is great quality and super value. It is a cut above the usual €13.50 menu. Really is worth a visit, the dining room is homely and stylish, there is a well shaded terrace which is a lovely spot to eat. The service is good and the husband and wife team are very welcoming. A real gem of a find.

We had a lovely lunch out the front of the restaurant. Fresh local food, good service and the chef made an effort to accommodate my daughter’s food intolerances. I loved the starter of cucumber cheesecake with smoked salmon and lemon, beautifully delicate. My main course...of lamb tagline was more than ample and again tasted fresh and the meat was very tender. We struggled to fit in a pudding but my son’s apricot tart was delicious. I would definitely visit again.

Husband and wife (Olivier - host and Natascha - chef), gave us a wonderful lunch, including specially cooked vegetarian choice for my daughter, which we had requested in advance. Four courses, with fabulous deserts, also included wine and coffee. When Olivier gave me the bill, I told him he'd made a mistake - there were six of us! No mistake, he said! I don't know how they prepared such a feast for such a small amount. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

Just a little off the beaten track in Gorre is this little hidden gem of a restaurant. We arrived just before 1pm and the waiter fitted us in without a reservation. It was busy yet the waiter made us feel very welcome (our dogs too! ...The menu we were offered was the fixe prix lunchtime menu and we also had an aperitif of Prosecco to start. Food was of typical French style. Simple, homely and tasty. This isn’t 5 star dining but if you want traditional food in a lovely setting and simplicity then go here! Service was excellent, waiter made us laugh and despite being busy certainly made time for every table. A great way to spend a lunchtime. Highly recommended.

If you 're looking for genuine home cooking, in the traditional French lunchtime manner, then this family owned and run, unpretentious Limousine Restaurant is for you. Run by a young husband and wife team, it 's a stunner but you do need to understand how this...sort of establishment is (traditionally) run and it 's a lunchtime venue really and is not normally even open in the evenings though le Patron Olivier is now restarting selected 'Special ' evenings too.....but back to lunch...so how about the following: Homemade soup, followed by a self service choice of hors d 'œuvres, followed by Main course, usually choice of two, all home cooked, then a generous cheeseboard left at the table, cho...
