"On a dreary cold night when my wife was back in the UK, I decided to entertain myself. No other restaurant was open in Pontorson, so I went in. The restaurant decor reminded me of a previous time and it was just about empty. Two other tables occupied, so there was not much ambiance. Although there was a selection of pizzas, couscous, tajinnes, etc., I found the menu unappealing, so I opted for a steak. I was not expecting much, but when it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. It was tasty, tender and a good size. I thought that the dishes were over-priced. The welcome by la Patronne was very warm and friendly and she was very attentive throughout."

We travel off-season and service can be a bit slow but lunches out tend to be the best part of our day and this place was fine.

Staying at the campsite nearby. Had the set menu which was limited in choice but nonetheless delicious. Freshly cooked and well presented with pleasant service. Reasonably priced and friendly atmosphere

We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident and are so glad we did! The service was great! They were extremely accommodating and genuinely care. The food was also amazing and there gin and tonic was phenomenal. Will definitely be coming back here next time we...are in the area and I recommend people to stop by here definitely worth it! We were driving around Pontorson on our way to Mont St. Michel and they opened up just for us. The owner and her husband were warm and welcoming and made us an omelette, went next door to get croissants and got a coffee with milk but charged us 52 € which I thought was extremely expensive. We were grateful that they opened up for us and got us going on our way.

It's s shame that Brits are still seen as an easy target in some establishments. Two of our party of eight asked for an adult-sized chicken nuggets meal form the kids menu. We didn’t expect to pay the advertised 8 Euros but were surprised to be charged double – 16 Euros, for effectively an extra 3 chicken nuggets. Patron not interested when challenged. Shame as the meal was otherwise pretty good.

One of us has couscous. Couscous with veg in broth and separate chicken was good. The steak however was terrible. Ordered entrecôte Fraincaise. Was tough, sinewy and full of yellow fat. The cat at our accomodation scored as we took most of steak back home. The payment by card was also a problem, with poor reception of card machine, waitress having to hold machine in a particular place to get reception, and. Owner trying to get us to pay cash. View menu

We went to this restaurant at 8.00pm on a Friday evening and we were the only ones there. We ordered smoked salmon and goats cheese on toast starters, and both our starter dishes were adequate without much flair. Our mains were chicken with rice and...sirloin steak with chips. We also had a pichet of red wine which was as expected for a French house wine. There was little chicken on the leg though what was there was average.. The sirloin steak was hugh and quite tough and its size defeated our meagre appetites. A poor meal for the price of € 50. We would not eat there again

this restaurant is so good, we are here two nights behind each other. my wife and I loved the friendly staff (christiano the manager is a hoot.) yesterday I had the tagliatelle with dried tomaten and my wife had the French burger with huhn. both were exquisite. we also had the hamplancha as starter. tonight I had the French burger and my wife the tagliatelle with seafood. both were great again. I had the authentic cannoli for dessert and it was delicious. they also have a great wine selection full of Italian and French weeps. this restaurant really has the best of Italian and French cuisine. highly recommended.
