"We went there to try out the German cuisine as a family. The menu was rather touristically designed. We started off with burgundy snails, for example. Then we had German Hackse and porc chops. That was al fine and hospitable, then the English waiter suggested to have the strawberries drauned in Cointreau for the children so they would fall asleep and "we could have some fun" !!??!! Then for the coffees the remark was "well it is coffee, tea or me". Then the most gross part came with the paying. I wanted to pay € 10 as a tip, though then I was told that in Germany it is custom to pay at least 10% tip. As this is nonsens I told him then I pay you € 5 as a tip. This as a tip is a courtesy not a right. We had to get our coats from the wardrobe ourselves as the service had apparently stopped after these encounters. Therefore a restaurant to avoid when in the neighbourhood."
