"beautiful location close to the historic centre and pedestrian. atmosphere mi bistrot (bruit) mid high-end restaurant. indoor terrace pleasant. the important remains the cuisine that is perfect: marriage of textures and flavors, a certain boldness. very small card and fresh products of course. very correct prices (especially the menu from noon to 16€). The service is fast and efficient. Nothing to say. If, they have a problem with the proposed breads that turned out to be a little...dur during our two passages, but it's not much (I'm telling him in case they'd read me). a very good idea to try this place."

refined and original cuisine with good products. The welcome is nice and warm. A real heartburn for this restaurant where we love to come in love!

the excellent critics prompted us to discover this establishment...and what disappointment! mix of flavors maybe... but sick the next day! delicate stomachs abstain. and very noisy room despite the few tables.

the only fault will be the slowness of service...We were there on the evening, on a Saturday (reservation recommended). The restaurant was full. but its size, human, let us hope for a normal service, in vain. The dishes are delicious and their presentation is perfect. Nothing to say!

we discovered this very pleasant restaurant at the reception. The kitchen is original and refined. However, we had to limit ourselves to not exceed 50€ per person. we took half of an entrance and the dorade portion had the size of my thumb. That said, the welcome is charming and we think we're coming back!

how to express such delight. What a pleasure of senses, you take your eyes full of taste buds, deliciosa. the service is treated, very attentive. If I had to bring a flat, a tiny one, it would be on the decor that I find not too simple (which is very good) but not in line with the plate (we must find a small defect) View menu

discreet restaurant from the outside, has the interior modern decor, not very large, small terrace.the kitchen is modern and rather tasteful, mix of original flavors. local wines are at affordable prices . given the required reservation size , a flat the room is noisy , as a group is present the resounding room. the service by two young people was very good. to review for five stars.

good restaurants with local cuisine there are certainly some in amboise. Unfortunately, most of the city center are very well visited. a place without reservation is only with luck to get. we had luck . the menu offered typical food and drinks. eating was one of the best on our tripp across France, but not only convinced the culinary offer. the chefin and the personal gave the local a “welfth-feeling-fabric” that one would not expect in heavily frequented local. the guests were kindly advised and you noticed the hired the joy at work.

"Our 5th stay in Beaune and we were recommended this restaurant by the Gite owners.Lovely and Cosy. Has a small private tabled area at the back for small groups/couples but the real experience is up at the counter where you can watch the chef(s) in action. Entertaining and educating. Watch them prepare, cook and present your meal.SERVICEAttentive. Greeted, seated and provided a menu very quickly. Waitress maintained an eye on our wine and water glasses and made sure we were looked after. She was eager to explain all aspects for the set menu and wines.FOODGreat experience watching the chef’s from the 1st instance where they select and prepare ingredients for each dish. Developing the sauces, selecting the condiments and assembling the dishes with care and experience. The lunch was a delight. The dishes were well presented, superbly cooked and a joy to eat.WINEWine by the glass was excellent. We tried 3 different types of the white from dry to sweet. Reasonably priced and enjoyable. My only other observation was that the chef (who I believe is also the owner) often spent time staring into space while waiting for food to complete its cooking ritual and seemed quite distant. I had the feeling he had other things weighing on his mind. Would have been great to have a chat with him to add to the lunch experience. I hope whatever he was thinking about doesn’t stop him from continuing to run La Superb as they serve up a real culinary treat."
