"The location of this restaurant is stunning. Right alongside the lake, you couldn’t get a better position. The food that we had was enjoyable (but not the best in Malcesine) and it says a lot that we went there three times. We decided not to return for further visits during our two week holiday because the service was a bit variable. Some of the staff were fine but one waitress in particular didn’t smile once. On several occasions the guys who seemed to be in charge stood adjacent to our table having very long conversations with (presumably) regular customers whilst we were trying to attract attention from one of the waiters. We felt a little like second class customers so took our business elsewhere. The restaurant at Hotel Castello (Al Bacio) and Ristorante Paradiso Perduto both offer superb examples of how to provide a great welcome and excellent service combined with top quality food."

Wonderful place! Amazing food, delicious! And marvellous few on the lake. Went 5 times there during my vacation. Best place in Malcesine!

il posto meritava 10 stelle per la splendida vista. per quanto riguarda il menu si potrebbe fare di più. è una località turistica con un'offerta turistica rivolta soprattutto ai turisti stranieri. quasi niente di tipico.

Great place for good food and drink. Family run. Such good quality. Next door is an Amazing place to rest in the private gardens for private jetty and swim/sunbathe. Change rooms and toilet. You pay for entry. But we love it. Been coming for years.

In tutto abbiamo pagato circa €. Il ristorante è situato i...

"After narrowly missing out on lunch in another village location we were 10 mins too late for service) we made our way up the mountainside towards Tremosine in hope! We passed one prospect but the plastic tablecloths and cheesy music put us off and so we continued on up the very narrow and tricky to pass mountain road. Lovely views but a nightmare road where we got jammed in gridlock on the way down. On the way up on the right hand side a large car park opened up next to a rustic looking building and this looked like, if nothing else, a good spot to have a short walk or turn the car around and head back down the road. However, it shortly became apparent that many maybe all) the visitors in this large car park were visiting the Ristorante Brasa. We soon found out why. Rustic chic, low prices, good food and a great atmosphere full of locals, birthday parties etc). We found the service very friendly and attentive. The food was very good rather than absolutely excellent but great value and I think the subject of rather harsh judgement from us due to being spoilt at other locations. By this time I was very hungry and over ordered not unheard of). A large and very good Vitello Tonnato enough for two my partner helped me along a little together with her large salad). Followed by a tasty home made and probably wood oven cooked) lasagne for me and pasta with cheese, mushrooms and prawns for my partner a little heavy but good). The stand out course was the grilled chicken. This was clearly cooked in the wood oven. Crispy, slightly dark and delicious on the outside, herbs permeating the dish, moist and tender on the inside This is highly recommended! All in all a welcome, excellent value and recommended lunch stop. Probably improved if you have a motor bike or a helicopter as getting there is definitely something for the brave or those with an already modified vehicle."
