"Was here for my wedding anniversary on a Sat. night and it was very budy, but our waiter was friendly and prompt. It was raining so we ate our delicious dinner inside with a bottle of wine. It was expensive, but the food was delicious. On a subsequent returns, we've had lunch outside on the huge patio up until October. Staff provide bankets for your legs or shoulders. The fresh pizzas are good, as are the desserts. But it is the ambiance that is special. Running water rushes past in a stream and the mill is surrounded by trees and lush parkland. It is a beautiful place!"

Great place to meet friends and share a meal over a number of beers. Atmosphere lively. We were there in winter but in summer, the terraces outside must be the place to be.

A gem of a place: Hotel rooms romantic, restaurant tasteful and delicious, beergarden rustic and a fine selection of brews on tab. Bring your friends and hike or bike the forrests. I am one loyal new fan; keep it up!

24.5 Eur was the price we had to pay for enjoying their Sunday brunch. No drinks included. Wow. Refill happened rarely, average selection. Smokey room, the omelette took 20 minutes to complete. We felt being ripped off. Won't come back.

Nice restaurant with good food and relaxed atmosphere - unless you go on the weekend. We've been there during midweek and it wasn't so noisy and crowded. Great place with kind staff and efficient service, excellent for a sunny day! Highly recommended if you're happen to be in the area as long as you have a car because this place is unreasonable by PT!

You are in the middle of forest and yet 15 minutes away from Dusseldorf airport. Excellent setting, modern deco in an old mill, the menu is surprising, international and the staff knows how to please you (I asked for strawberries with whipped cream, which was not on the menu). I had a curry, Laos-style, which is one of the best I have had in Europe. The quantities were just right and the local beer, fresh and delicious.

This is an exceptional place to eat, drink or simply enjoy a lovely coffee or hot cocoa. I've been there many times and would like to suggest that they are completely slammed on weekends and service is nominal at best. However and this is a strong however, service is exceptional every other day as is the magnificent cuisine. Okay, its hit or miss on the weekend but that's because its always full on the weekend so try and go during the week.

Our business team took us to this restaurant on our visit to Dusseldorf. It is such a great hidden gem!! It is literally at the end of road, over a railroad track, by a lake, near the creek! There is inside/ outside dining. Lots of beer choices. And the food is amazing!! Grilled steaks, huge cheeseburgers, fries, salads, pasta, and typical German fare. The service is quick/ efficient. And you find yourself never wanting to leave! Very peaceful!
