"Well it 's been over 20 years since I was here the last time. It 's still the most fabulous spot. I had a 2 inch thick Argentine beef steak cooked to perfection (medium rare) along with roasted potatoes. My friend had Carpaccio that was extremely authentic. Thinly sliced raw fillet mignon with condiments. My other friend had a terrific shrimp salad. I can 't tell you how wonderful it is to be here again. The place has been here in the exact same house since the year 1470. America wasn 't even discovered yet! How cool is that???? If you 're anywhere near Dusseldorf I highly recommend a little 10 minute drive out of town to this charming house for a fabulous dinner. They have expanded to have an outdoor terrace in the back that allows smoking however there is no smoking in the restaurant."

We were eating at Gut Porz for the first time. My friend wanted to eat asparagus, and I had a desire for something special. The homepage convinced us to book a table and we were not disappointed. We took place on the 1st floor/wall floor/dach floor. The soundtrack was already a little loud, but this is also due to the room. The employees were all kind. There was hardly any waiting time though almost all tables were occupied. Food was top. It was a nice evening. We'll be back. Best regards Marc
