"Fab place to go and enjoy a few drinks with friends and family or even alone. Lovely country setting with lots to offer. Great food and drinks. They are dog and horse FRIENDLY too. Huge bonus for some. Tom and Annie are very welcoming and its lovely that they take time out to acknowledge their customers on each visit. Having been recently I can say that they are doing the very best that they can within the governments guidelines. There are lots of seating areas with clear instructions marked on each table for customers to be able to place your order. Very straight forward. Well done to all at the Llindir! Hopefully soon we can all get back to some normality. It’s been a tough year for us all. Best wishes."

Such a beautiful country pub with utterly delightful landlords. Always a very warm welcome and Covid safe. We love our visits and are so looking forward to when they are able to be fully functional again. Community focused always, please support. Well done Tom and Annie.

Top notch food and service as always, excellent beer choice and even better quality served by The Landlord, who knows a thing or two about quality Ales. We did however struggle to get a taxi, no problem at all as The Landlord drove us back to Denbigh himself gratis.. Beautiful setting highly recommended..

The best vegan pizza I've ever had... Annie's veggie and meaty pizzas are obviously amazing too, because on the weekend, this place is packed with pizza lovers, her dough is epic!!!! In the week, it's the most lovely and welcoming of pubs with diamond locals, and the lovely landlord Tom remembers your name and knows his beers. Beautiful old building filled with history, dog friendly with free puppy biscuits! Go there, it's boss!!! View menu

I’m a keen quizzer who’s recently moved into the area. I went today expecting to have my grey cells tested in the hope of winning some promised Easter treats. Unfortunately it didn’t go ahead because there were only 2 teams in attendance. So after a quick pint with my fellow teammates, we left disappointed. On a plus note, the young barman was very pleasant and the pint was agreeable. There’s lots of potential in this pub, but promises unfortunately weren’t delivered.

My wife and I stayed in the area several years ago and loved this place but it’s changed hands and now has terrible customer service. We ordered a gin and tonic and pint of IPA the land lord came out saying how he taken the Liberty to give us a double gin , and then charged us for it, making a gin and beer nearly £14! I asked for another pint of the same beer and got something completely different. Place looks shabby and it’s a shame but it was a great place several years ago.

The restaurant in this thatched pub has recently re-opened. They have started off with a simple menu but I understand the quality of the food is first class. I ordered the noodles with pheasant in Hoison sin sauce. My goodness, the flavours were fantastic. A big healthy portion too. The chilli heat of the dish was just right for me but I am sure customers could ask the chef to tone it down if they don't like their food spicy hot. I will definitely be eating at the Llindir again. My husband and I were fortunate to spend a few weeks in Henllan last month and fell in love with the place! We were very welcome by the folks at The Llindir Inn and the Landlord Tom and staff Rob and Dan were great. Always met with a smile and a treat for our dog which was lovely. Good selection of drinks and special mention goes to the amazing homemade pizza on offer on the weekend. Beautiful old pub with great fireplace for cold evenings. On warmer days the outside has a huge seating area with stunning views of the beautiful hillside. Thanks for a great time lovely people of Llindir Inn we can’t wait to come back again! I’ve watched the llindir slowly go downhill for the last couple of years. My last visit was the final straw for us, they are making no effort to prevent covid. We were there for an afternoon and tables weren’t wiped once. Glasses were left outside for hours, new customers had to pick up old customers glasses as every empty table was full with empties. There was one young lady behind the bar who constantly had a queue the scruffy landlord seemed to pop in for 5 minutes and out every hour or so, i heard him advise the barmaid to tell customers to bring their own glasses in as they don’t have chance to get them (then the landlord returned back upstairs

"Went for afternoon tea with my wife, using an 'experience ' voucher from a well known site, costing £35.99 absolute disaster! The description said 'sit down in the sophisticated dining room and tuck into a section of finger sandwiches, tantalising cakes, pastries, macarons and scones with clotted cream and jam. You won 't want this afternoon to end! ' Trust me, we could not get out of their quick enough and go and find somewhere to get something to eat. The sophisticated dining room was a large, cold room with only a couple of other diners, sticky wooden tables, with no table cloths, just a flimsy paper napkin and a knife and fork. We ordered a coffee and a tea, which came in the smallest teapot, I have ever seen. Later in the meal, when we asked for another drink, we were told that was extra and were charged another £5.70. The food was nothing like as described or pictured on the website. A sad looking selection of sandwiches four quarters each of thin sliced bread one containing a very small piece of processed ham, a second mashed up egg, third was some sort of fish, not sure if it was salmon or tuna; and finally some sort of green leaf with something wet on top it looked like the sandwich had been made days earlier and then sat upon! No pastries or macarons but the two scones with clotted cream and two little pots of jam were OK, however the remaining small cakes were dreadful, none of them were fresh there were two eclairs that were inedible, either the cream or chocolate was off and they were very dry; two little red velvet cakes, which again were dry and horrible; and finally two small pieces of carrot cake that were the least objectionable but again very dry. When we told the waitress the eclairs, she said she would tell the chef but no offer of an alternative. True, it was an unforgettable experience, but not in the way we had expected! We have had afternoon teas in top hotels, pubs, cafes and well known garden centres and nothing came close to being as bad as this meal. Needless to say we will never return and would strongly advise caution if anyone is thinking of going here."
