"We were staying near the Chateau de Eau metro stop, just south of the Gare de L'Est, and tried a couple of the cafes in that neighborhood. We were trying to accommodate two vegetarians and one non beef eater among the four of us, so turned down some other places I'd have liked to try. We were among the last tables of the evening we took an indoor table because it had rained and was threatening to start in again. The patrons were mostly middle aged (maybe the young crowd was braving the street? couples and groups who seemed to be enjoying themselves. Our waiter was very friendly and entertaining, although his translation of menu items to English was incomplete in some cases. I had confit de canard, and the vegetarians had a mozzarella salad and paparelli with pesto. With kir, beer and wine, creme brulee and tiramisu, I think our bill was a bit over 80 euros for four."

Great little place in a real betting area. edelweiss with pressure and many delicious pasta dishes! the staff is friendly and the place is clean with seats outside. If you're in the 10th stop!

It's a pity we found this place on our last day in bets. The food is really great. excellent Italian. The staff is friendly. and the place has a good atmosphere. My girlfriend took a risotto and I had salmon tagliatelles. Both were very good.

This restaurant had a very good lunch time deal. At €15 for a starter and main or main and desert. A pichet of wine reasonably priced at €10.50 believe me reasonable for this standard restaurant). So we had the vegetable velouté and the avocado, cheese, prawn, crab starters. The seafood starter was easily one of the tastiest starters ever. The mains were trout with potatoes and steak diane both very well cooked and tasty. Very busy, lots of French locals eating there in groups. Would highly recommend, it is very good value by Paris standards and I'd definitely go back.
