service today. waited for me to eat, then was accused of swearing at the manager, which I do not. arrogant staff, which also throws you out rudely at the end of the day.

if you love burger, you must try Lord nelsons juicy lucy! Beautifully cooked meat with a very generous cheese filling, what could we ask for a long morning walk? the pommes were a bit disappointing, but the burger makes it safe!

From the quirky decor (in a red and blue theme with fantasy characters and other fun touches and cuddly toys hanging upside down above the bar) to the delicious burger this place is a must to go for lunch or dinner. The Juicy Lucy and the Full Nelson are the ones you must try but I bet that after that you'll want to keep going there to try them all. Burger fans, you've been warned. this pub is decorated as a children's toy box exploded in willy wonkas factory. trolls hang over the bar, they soldiers pushed themselves up from the deck. I had even warned that the burgers were great, but gote, they are in obscene. I had the juicy lucy a cattleburger with cheese, then with chorizo topped and served with an unholy amount of clobig chips. it was delicious, don't get me wrong, but I felt pretty sick afterwards. the service is quite slow and the bar is small so it can take a while to be served. good place to dive before or after a show in union theatre.

my uni was right next to this quirky pub so I often visited the joint. the personal is amazing, super fun. Quiz nights, can not be beaten (I still have my nicki graham autobiography that I asked to have even though I lost). the decor is kooky, think action figures with the covers and cartoons glued to the walls. a large selection of drinks, great prices (and offers during the week) and of course eating. quite epic. they were proud to serve a dam a burger, but unfortunately the ship is blessed. honestly, the best pub in the opposite, super busy at the end of the day, but that from a reason. can not recommend, high enough

i ate here on a friday just recently with friend who works nearby, it's her local. seemingly a virtual restaurant by day and bar by night last food at the food is very burger-centric with home-made monster burgers with multi-toppings their speciality. friend had veggie on the med' and i had the full napoleon'. hers was a really good and nice textured veggie burger topped w/ roast peppers, haloumi, mozarella and houmus. pretty damn tasty! mine was a mahoosive beef burger home-made and chargrilled with brie, onions, bacon and garlic mayo. my burger was awesome best i've eaten in, well, forever... chips were hand-cut and there was a mini-salad in there somewhere. guy at...read more View menu

Quirky' pub on the estate, standing out on Union St for its colourful painted exterior and a ~funny~ ramshackle alternative vibe Thought it might a refreshing, solid pub for a decent meal that could surprise in quality. Especially with the amount of hardcore-burger-fan burger joints that have pervaded all central spaces, this looked more honest, solid and different It's basically a student pub, which is fine if that's all your looking for Food itself was pretty average: Haloumi salad generously portioned but padded out with a lot with **** bland leaves. I visited this pub last night with a group of girlfriends for a casual drink and a catch up. Some had been before and enjoyed their experience and so we returned. Apparently its also popular in my university halls as it offers student prices on drinks. It is also a very quirky, creative place and so would appeal to a lot of creative people, particularly UAL (University of The Arts London) students. After I went around the weekend around london and saw all the same places to eat, I went back to get my bag from the hotel year old in tow. we needed something to eat and see here before the trip to the house. quiet place and a... more real reproach to some nostalgic times. then they saw the fine burgers. I visit a few boutique burgers places in the north, but here was much better! amazing selection of burgers but chips to die. my year old was so impressed that he ate a full adult share.
