"We had just arrived to Paris that afternoon and were walking back to our hotel from visiting the Catacombs. L'Oree du Parc was along the way and it looked interesting. There were several others seated and as it was relatively early (6pm -ish), we took that as a good sign. The first thing my friend did was ask for a menu in English. The waiter gave us a weird look and I instantly thought that it had been a mistake to ask for that. All of the stories of the French being rude or ignoring American patrons came to mind. Well, I was wrong! Our waiter, "Eddie" could not have been more engaging. My friend speaks a little French and he was great with her. I attempted, but have no background with the language and he was exceptionally kind in helping me with the menu. I made a change from mashed potatoes to french fries and he was accommodating. I had the roasted chicken with french fries and my friend had the cassoulet. Both were delicious, as was the glass of house red wine. All in all, it was a very successful first night out in Paris and we left full and happy! We'll be back next time we're in Paris - thank you Eddie for the exceptional service!"

Everything were really tasty! The staff is really frendly. The mood is like the tipical french coffe/bar/restaurant. Looks really good. I can recommend this place!

Steak like a hockey puck and bottles of open wine combined and repoured and sold as new , full bottles. They also brought me the wrong wine twice, probably so they could use up what was already open. Worst dining experience I had in the city. There are so many good restaurants in this town, you can do better easily . Terrible service.

Went by myself on a rainy day. Typical Parisian bistrot, noisy, fast service, no English, good food, good prices. The red wine by the glass was mediocre, but the pate I started from was excellent. The cassoulet was also very good but a bit dry and I have had better. Total 31.50 euros, very fair. A very good option a bit off the beaten path if you are in the area.
