"This was my first visit to Lorenzini (Friday, June 15,) and in fact was my first meal that I had eaten in Bern. I was the guest of the Bern Tourist Board, and along with five other travel agents we were in Bern to see it for the first time. The restaurant itself was centrally located in the city and in a lovely building. We were sat on the open-air terrace, which given the fabulous weather, was a really great setting for dinner.Service was excellent and was our first example of Swiss hospitality. We were given a set meal which consisted of a salad to start, a main meal of pork escalope, topped with bacon, served with vegetables and risotto. Dessert was a creme caramel.Bottled water, soft drinks and wine were included and we all had a really excellent night out.I would definitely go back to the restaurant under my own steam, as I thought the food was very good. Service was excellent, and seeing that all staff were multilingual, language was not a barrier.Certainly I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone."

Bern, the capital of Switzerland, offers picturesque medieval streets and local cuisine like rösti, a crispy potato dish, and Bernese platter featuring meats and sauerkraut.
