"The menu is straightforward, featuring about four types of burgers (with varying amounts of bacon and cheese), fries, steaks, and chicken parmigiana. The starters were the most intriguing – we tried the onion bhaji corn dogs, although they didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The batter had great flavor but was a bit too spicy and slightly undercooked. I also didn’t really taste the corn flavor, and the hot dog was a pork one, which didn't sit well with me as a Chicago girl! However, our other starter was fantastic: the taleggio and leek croquettes. They should probably be called mac and cheese bites – they were delicious, cheesy, gooey, and just amazing! My burger was superb – cooked to a perfect medium rare, incredibly juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The bun was buttery and wonderfully soft. The fries were just right: crispy with the skin on. The staff was excellent, friendly, and very helpful in selecting a wine from their surprisingly extensive list. I will definitely be returning!"

The Antonio Banderas burger had us in a true food coma. It's my second favorite burger spot in London, and I've tried quite a few! Make sure to check it out!

I haven't visited Lucky Chip since I was disappointed by my last experience at the Seabright Arms, and unfortunately, it seems things haven't improved. I encountered the same undercooked, overly salty burger, with stingy portions of ketchup. I also ordered cheese and garlic fries but was let down when there was no cheese on them. Overall, I left feeling dissatisfied.

They also serve chicken wings and a slaw that's heavy on the mayonnaise, along with a selection of different chips. You can’t go wrong with their skinny French fries, so there’s no need to waste time deciding. The staff has a great personality and hasn't fallen into the hipster trap. There are tables, but I recommend the booths as they’re cozy for either four people or just two. If you’re dining alone or not on a date where you’re having heart-to-heart conversations, you can sit at the bar and enjoy watching the burgers being grilled. I’ll definitely be back! I just wish they would open a location in Southeast London. Thanks! View menu

As anyone who has read my reviews knows, I'm a huge fan of burgers. I've always ranked Lucky Chip as the second-best burger spot in London, so I was really excited for this visit. Unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. I'm also a big fan of wine, but I found that the pairing with the burgers didn't work for me. The wine prices ranged from around £25 to a whopping £500, although the higher-priced option comes with free fries—perhaps I’ll give that a go when someone else is picking up the tab! The menu is a more limited version of their usual offerings. I tried the El Chappo, which was good, but the blue cheese was a bit too overpowering for the meat, which wasn’t ideal. Th...

"this is a great place Thai restaurant that we unfortunately do not visit as much as we want. it has been an established part of my hometown hornchurch and serves fantastic Thai cuisine for many years. I am now glad to say that on Saturday we had a opportunity to visit and again eating was full of all the aromes they expect from this style of food. on Saturday we have walked on our fifteen minute walk to the heart of the city where they find the restaurant. we entered and received the usual friendly reception before we took our places. While we looked at the menu, we ordered a beautiful bottle of maison bergon 2020 a delightful French sauvignon blanc, full of citrus fruits, apple and lemongras aromas. unusual for us we decided to choose a set menu. we chose the Bangkok menu with an additional Thai salad. this started with the prawn crackers and sweet chili diving sauce. the starter was a plate consisting of chickensatai, spring rolls, huh on toast, chicken strips prawn tempura, which was all fresh, hot and full of fabulous thai aromen. we followed this with our additional plate of the yum nuar a fabulous spicy salate of cut grilled sirloin, swirl, early swirl, coriander, lemon juice, fish sauce chili flock, which I would definitely recommend. we now went to the main courses that would be with ingwer in black bohnensoße, chicken green curry, sweet with egg noodles. thai jasmin reis. the aromen and choir again complicated themselves perfectly and made every dish absolutely delicious. to finish they can have either tee, coffee or a few pots vanilla ice cream. this brought our charming Thai lunch to the end, and we hope to do again in the near future. I would highly recommend a visit here as eating is fantastic and there is always a good friendly service. also it is a long established part of our community and should be supported. many thanks for our fabulous lunch and look forward to seeing them all again soon."
