"We made two menus of the day to 18€ each: the gazpacho, was quite good and good quantity. the peppers and tuna salad, the little fleshy peppers and the tuna that denotes a quality jota, acceptable dish. rice of slaughter, the best we ate, very rich, although the big pieces of meat were a little dry, but very rich of flavor. pork loin in escarapuche, the dressing was rich but the sous loin and a little dry, lacked the grace of the brassa roast typical of this dish. yogurt cream, the weakest the desserts were, this was not a cream but a liquid of yogurt, tasted well but lacked creaminess. truffle mouse, rich the two truffles that accompanied it, the mouse was not such, was not air, very compact, almost chewable. another thing that didn't get was the two extra euros that charged us for two other buns of bread outside the menu, according to that they were out of the menu but also ask for the consumption of menu a bottle of water nothing more, in short, correct but plane of experience."

there were few people. regular food. expensive weekend menu for quantity and quality. croquettes and cocktails dug and tequila. We were placed on a table a tight beak, although the main hall was empty. Good attention.

We went with reserve of my brother who already knew the place, we were pleasantly surprised, we got a lot of decoration, exquisite treatment, we ate chuletons and rice with dessert milk. the chuleton to the point, tender and tasty, the salad very well made with a very personal touch, the rice with milk as I had never tried, simply spectacular, only a suggestion to my modest understanding, the fries of garrison were frozen and the tasting would have won if they had been homemade with some personal touch like the rest of dishes. the price also very aquilated for everything we take that we water with white tiara wine. We'll definitely go back to plassence again.

"Add Parador de Plasencia to the top of your list of hotels to stay at in Spain! It is located in Extremadura, the far western part of the country. Rooms: rooms are spacious with many offering a separate sitting area. There are wooden headboards and orange tiled floors. The bathrooms have been updated and include amenities shampoo, shower gel, etc. There is also air conditioning, which is appreciated on days with temperatures over 40C. Fitness leisure: Ask the receptionist for access to the fitness room located underground. There’s a treadmill, stationary bike, free weights and weight machine with a bench. What’s more, there are showers and a sauna there too. The outdoor swimming pool is open in the summer, which is refreshing on hot days (August). Food: the breakfast buffet offers regional specialities including multiple pastries and sweets, local cheese and meats. Come hungry as there are plenty of options to choose from and it’s even possible to order eggs (various styles) or churros. Service: extremely friendly and helpful. Parking: to check in, park in front of the hotel for a few minutes. The parking garage is accessed by driving around the back and taking an elevator. Recommend to not be in a rush to arrive or depart the parking lot as it can take some time. Summary: this historic building was built in the 15th century as a convent complete with a gorgeous cloister that sheds lights into the ground and upper floors. It feels as though you’ve stepped back in time while in this well preserved venue. Within walking distance to the other sites in Plasencia, this parador is a must when in Extremadura. Highly recommend!!"
