"we couple) turned off the hotel to find a good restaurant to take part in the afternoon instead of the highway service center. by coincidence with some help from locals we landed at maculato. that is absolutely the best restaurant I visited in italia. it was a little late for lunch, as only one party ended her meal. the place is immaculate and very tastefully decorated. our waitress spoke as much English as we Italian, but she worked hard to communicate with us and explain some of the menu points. after the order, a small salat starter was shown, which we did not order, then our meal with another unexpected dish of deep roasted vegetables for the table to taste. that was great. I'm sure we were the last midday customers and they waited to close until dinner, but we weren't rushed in any way. the price was very reasonable. we would return to this restaurant in a heartbeat!"

I visited a Friday night, quite late. we had a few pizzas (bier and Zola/radicchio). very nice combinations, and they are too proud to prove the teig. good service. friendly and fast.

I ate here quite a lot recently and find this place remarkable for attention to details, quality of food, great selection: they can range from seafood to pizza, steaks, tagliata, pinsa (a traditional local version of pizza). they also have good weeping and a special selection of great beers. they can take for a romantic dinner or even with them.

my wife and I visited on Friday night and had an excellent three courses. eating was excellent, my wife pizza was great for the plate and the bill including wine was very reasonable. the employees spoke little English and there was no English menu that is expected), which led to some surprise dishes. I recommend this restaurant when you stay or go through.
