Vorzūgliches Essen in gemütlicher Grotto-Atmosphäre. Einfache aber sehr leckere Karte und sehr effizienter und freundlicher Service.

something very simple grotte with missing love to the deteil. service and eating were in order, our dog wilkommen, but prices in a ratio quite high. there is better in the environment!

Traditional Grotto ticinese between Ascona and Losone with delicious meals. Nice and romantic atmosphere and not too touristic at all. Service and dinner was great quality, even the Limoncello was offered with a valuable bill at the end. View menu

Wir bekamen das Sonntagsmenü mit kalten Vorspeisen, Salat, Hauptgericht und Dessert für 42 CHF pro Person. Gute Qualität für Geld. Hauptgericht war gebratenes Kalbfleisch, lecker. Vertraute Atmosphäre, freundliches Personal, Kamin in der Mitte des Raumes. Es fühlte sich wie zu Hause an.

Das ist was wo man in Süddeutschland auch gut-bürgerlich zu sagt. Hier gehen die Leute aus der Umgebung zum Essen und bekommen ordentlich was auf den Teller. Es geht lebhaft zu und eben... We had lunch there after a visit to Monte Verita and where pleasantly surprised by their food, given the simple look of the place. We had ravioli della nonna and polenta with cream and porcini sauce (instead of Gorgonzola) which was both absolutely amazing. Also, and astonishing for Ascona is the very reasonable price for what we had, including the wine.Definitely worth a trip off the beaten track from the usual Ascona places. Great for hot sunny days as the stone tables are under the shady tree. View menu
