"Since I have been working in durlach for many years, I often went to lunch here, although it is far from the office than almost all other restaurants in durlach. that is the one we have chosen when we have something special. above-average quality. the menu and the staff have remained almost unchanged for many years, and so has the reliable, fine quality. a lot of styles is available, including more than a dozen vegetarian options. the lunch is really cheap; the evening is considerably more expensive, although not inappropriate in view of the quality. we had also served eating the maharani as a buffet in the office for several special occasions, which was also always good, although obviously not as good as just from the kitchen in the restaurant itself."

It is a nice restaurant and nice food... we had ordered for one of our birthday parties (veg non-veg included). All guests enjoyed the food and appreciate the taste. It's good to go. One of the best restaurants in Karlsruhe.

Okish and an restaurant with yummy food but relatively odd service. The waiter never took properly time to listen to our order (which felt sometimes quite rude). Still, the food arrived as ordered, was nice and reasonably priced.

Food Excellent. Some of the best east indian cuisine I have tried. Atmosphere Restaurant style; somewhat formal (as opposed to pub style . Even though no dress code is required, this is a nicer restaurant. Chair and table seating. Service The waiter didn 't stop by...the table to check on drinks and food at all.

Delicious cooking! The Karahi Gosht and Lamb Vindaloo are my favorite. The lamb vindaloo was not spicy to me (despite the sign on menu). Out of 2 Indian restaurants in Karlsruhe I tried, I like this better. The spices are as strong as I remember how it should when I eat in Asia but not overwhelming and very balanced. Service was great, cute little place, neat and clean.

This is authentic Indian food, as my husband who is from India confirms. Very well spiced, spices are adjusted to taste on request. The choice is wide, also for vegetarians. Especially the tandoors are to be recommended. The service is very friendly and attentive. As...far as alleged hygienic problems are concerned (there is a law suit pending), the entry has been revoked on the grounds that there were no issues on further investigation (February 2014, ka-news).
