The promenade offers a nice walk, cruises and a cycle path. Take care at the weekend when there are many cyclists about, sharing the same towpath with the pedestrians. Most of the cyclists are very considerate, however. The cruise to Frankfurt and back is well...worth the money and the Gerbermühle provides a good lunch or just drinks
