"The food here is great! It's typical Mauritian food. I've been here a few times and loved it so much that I even ended up doing a catering order for my birthday party. People who had never tried Mauritian food at my party asked for leftovers. Everyone left with a takeaway box or two! The dhall puris are my favourite. Highly recommend the butterbean curry (and chilli if you are brave)! The bhajis are best when they are freshly fried. My favorite are the cabbage bhajis. I've had the chicken and lamb briyani. They are definitely along the Mauritian side which we serve dry with chutneys and salad (I.e. no vegetable curry). The fried noodles are also rally good and must be tried with the garlic sauce. The alouda is also worth a try especially if you are having any food with the chilli sauce. The vanilla flavoured milk is not only tasty but helps you cool down. All in all, great Mauritian restaurant which reminds me of Mauritius. Ravi is always an amazing host. When we did the catering order, he did a follow up call to make sure everything was fine and in order. "

Authentic mauritian food at an affordable price. I have been a customer for quite a while and the quality never fail. Simply put, the food is delicious. Ravi is ever so welcoming. Had some takeaway on Saturday, each dish was perfectly packed.

Had the most amazing food here! I had the biriyani and it was so delicious, really tasty. We also had cocktails which were not only excellent value but also really well made! So glad we stumbled across this place, would definitely go again and would recommend to everyone!

I’m Mauritian and I feel that this is the only place in London that tastes authentic. I love the focus on street food, which I wouldn’t be able to make at home myself. Just a shame they don’t deliver to Battersea! For the key words it’s very easy to eat vegan here; a lot of Mauritian food is naturally veg.

My boyfriend and I came in tonight and we were served by the most lovely girl. Sorry we didn’t catch her name but she gave us some wonderful food recommendations and overall excellent service. We will be sure to be back again and we’ve already told our friends and family all about how wonderful it was. Highly recommend! We also got some desserts to takeaway as well to try tomorrow we’re very excited for! Overall just a massive thank you for an amazing evening, to anyone that reads this we couldn’t recommend it more :

Where do I start with this review. Firstly, this is food from my home country Mauritius so it's sometimes hard to beat the real deal on my little island. However, this little hidden gem in the middle of Tooting Broadway is home away from home and the most beautiful nostalgia I can ever feel. The food has never failed me as I go there minimum 2 times a month for the past year. Ravi, the owner is the sweetest human being and so friendly, he really makes you feel a part of the little community and wants you to enjoy his little input of the Mauritian lifestyle and culture. I couldn't be prouder of finding a part of my home and it being this place! Well done Ravi, you deserve the biggest round of...

I came all the way from Teddington (near Kingston having found this place online. The food is the closest I've had to being back in Mauritius, really really flavoursome and really generous portions. Our favourite has to be the Mauritian chicken biryani but we also loved the selection of cakes he had there. The atmosphere is so relaxing there with the Mauritian music on TV and selection of Mauritian drinks. It was the relaxed laid-back atmosphere I missed from Mauritius. I first came on New Year's Eve. I called in advance to preorder a takeaway and to have one dish there (the boulette soup , pickup at 3:45 and they were due to shut at 4. Thanks to major issues with my bus (we were without a d...

"this is a great place Thai restaurant that we unfortunately do not visit as much as we want. it has been an established part of my hometown hornchurch and serves fantastic Thai cuisine for many years. I am now glad to say that on Saturday we had a opportunity to visit and again eating was full of all the aromes they expect from this style of food. on Saturday we have walked on our fifteen minute walk to the heart of the city where they find the restaurant. we entered and received the usual friendly reception before we took our places. While we looked at the menu, we ordered a beautiful bottle of maison bergon 2020 a delightful French sauvignon blanc, full of citrus fruits, apple and lemongras aromas. unusual for us we decided to choose a set menu. we chose the Bangkok menu with an additional Thai salad. this started with the prawn crackers and sweet chili diving sauce. the starter was a plate consisting of chickensatai, spring rolls, huh on toast, chicken strips prawn tempura, which was all fresh, hot and full of fabulous thai aromen. we followed this with our additional plate of the yum nuar a fabulous spicy salate of cut grilled sirloin, swirl, early swirl, coriander, lemon juice, fish sauce chili flock, which I would definitely recommend. we now went to the main courses that would be with ingwer in black bohnensoße, chicken green curry, sweet with egg noodles. thai jasmin reis. the aromen and choir again complicated themselves perfectly and made every dish absolutely delicious. to finish they can have either tee, coffee or a few pots vanilla ice cream. this brought our charming Thai lunch to the end, and we hope to do again in the near future. I would highly recommend a visit here as eating is fantastic and there is always a good friendly service. also it is a long established part of our community and should be supported. many thanks for our fabulous lunch and look forward to seeing them all again soon."
