"My father and I were visiting Italy and decided to try Mareluna based on the reviews we saw on here. And, are they right! For me, being a little bit of a picky eater when it comes to good food, this is rare for me to...like something so much. My father, who loves seafood, had a big selection to chose from. The atmosphere was superb, and I loved the pool. Being there made me want to come back and have my wedding banquet there, it was so elegant and charming. (I loved their taste of artwork on the walls). We had the Catalan lobster, with prawns and scampi and it was divine. My favorite though was at dessert time, when we had the Sicilian cassata (a Italian specialty cake). If you book 24 hours in advance, and want the Dinner Eden, you can get it for 110 Euros instead of 180 which was great for us (considering it was only a two people dinner). The price was amazing for two people, considering the atmosphere and the wonderful service (although our food took a little bit to come out, it was rather crowded, but we were also super hungry during dinner time). There was live music, which was brilliant and added to the overall experience. The wait was worth it, the atmosphere and the waiter we had made us feel like we were at home. Wish a restaurant like this would come to Pittsburgh! We decided we would go back as soon as we visit Italy again, and to keep this on our travel guide, as well as recommending it to all our friends as a must-eat."

Recently my wife, son, daughter and I went to the Ristorante Mareluna' restaurant which heard from one of my friends, to enjoy ourselves. Just we entered the premisses of restaurant I felt that what a wonderful place that is. It's very charm and free. Staff of...there are so kind and friendly. We decided to have some sea food. wow received very scrumptious Catalan lobster along with scampi and prawns. But I had to pay a little. You w'd have this meal for 175 US dollars or about 140 euros. Ristorante Mareluna was so wonderful and comfortable, and had a swimming pool also. I recommend this place to anyone to have memorable enjoy with little expensive. Hemantha

nothing suggests great service in any restaurant, especially when it alone restaurant. the personal was so attentive, and I didn't feel at any point in the evening alone. the setting of the restaurant is simply beautiful, suitable for family meals and an evening...from with a special someone or friends. they are quite generous with their food proportions and I will be quite easily full in that, so that it could not make it into the desert. I would advise that they put up an appetit before they go into this restaurant because they fill it. they also have a large selection of wine, where their staff is more than willing to help with the selection. I'm sure the live music entertained me. great... View menu

my man and I visited here for our 10-year anniversary. we decided to give it an attempt as it was recommended by some friends of us who were recently visited. I have to say I was skeptical at first, but I was wrong! this place was just perfect and more elegant than I would have ever imagined! the ambiente has really set the mood for the occasion and it had the style, and touching italia would expect them; but I had certainly not expected it to be as fabulous as it was! and the music just played it all. the waiting staff and the staff were very nice and friendly; we felt like we had been treated as if they were happy that we were there and not just another customer. we both ordered the lobste...

"Booked as thought convenient for stop on wqy to Parma and read good reviews. Not impressed, owner rushing us over order as possibly wanting to be ready for his regular 13:00 locals. Young male waiter incapable of answering other than we had to speak to owner. Due to rushed order by owner wrong steak arrived. We had ordered Crudo and PR for 2 for a starter (wishing to support the local specialities) and the plate arrived with 5 small slices of crudo and 3 small chunks of cheese so a bit difficult to devide in 2 even although the owner had taken the order and double checked that the dish was for 2. When the wrong steak arrived I asked young waiter if it was correct and he said yes, his usual answer, owner removed wrong steak and we had a further 10 minute wait with chips and my meal going cold. I had asked if the sausage element on my Capricciosa pizza/pinza could be substituted with fresh mushrooms but as they had no fresh mushrooms the owner offered porcini which he then charged 3eu extra, no sausage reduction, and whilst the fine slivers of porcini were delicious they did not justify a 37.5% unannounced increase on my Capricciosa. We were most dissatisfued by the long wait over the wrong steak as we needed about 5 minutes to get the owner's attention as the boy had already answered yes to my question over whether the steak was al balsamico or not. Yes he said when it clearly wasn't, my husband had ordered it, I had reconfirmed it in Italian with the owner as we were never asked how he wished it cooked, ie rare. Regards wine, only white fizz available on la spina no red in a pasta, pizza, steak restaurant unless you choose to get ripped off over an overcharged bottle of plonk. Overall we were not impressed, more impressed by the ladies in the pasta factory at the side. They may have a good operation there but the restaurant front of house is rank amateur. We will not be revisiting or recommending others and our trip from home in Province of Ferrara to Parma to collect our preordered French Vacherin Mont D'or, Brie de Meaux cheeses and Swiss Gruyere was a little marred by this rather unprofessional lunch experience. Perhaps some staff training on dish recognisation is required. No doubt the owner will blame our foreignnish and therefore inability to communicate as the reason although I have been working, living in and speaking Italian since 1975, off and on, and both living here permanently for almost six years. Next time we'll stop at Autogrill or Sarni."
