"Maybe I chose the wrong dish. Unfortunately, Chicken Tikka tasted as little Indian as India has in common with penguins. For the cook: Ingredients Ingredients for Chicken Tikka: Chicken breast: about 500g, cut into bite-sized pieces Yogurt: about 1/2 cup Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tablespoon (mixed of fresh ginger and garlic) Garam Masala: 1 teaspoon Cumin powder: 1 teaspoon Paprika powder: 1 teaspoon (mild paprika powder or chili powder for a spicier version) Turmeric powder: 1/2 teaspoon Lemon juice: 2 tablespoons Salt: to taste Vegetable oil or ghee: about 2-3 tablespoons (for marinating and frying) Ingredients for the tomato sauce: Onions: 2 medium onions, finely chopped Tomatoes: 4 medium tomatoes, pureed Tomato paste: 2 tablespoons Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tablespoon (mixed of fresh ginger and garlic) Garam Masala: 1 teaspoon Cumin powder: 1 teaspoon Paprika powder: 1 teaspoon (mild paprika powder or chili powder for a spicier version) Turmeric powder: 1/2 teaspoon Cream: about 1/2 cup Butter: 2-3 tablespoons Vegetable oil or ghee: about 2-3 tablespoons Water: for cooking the sauce Salt: to taste"

I've tried a lot of Indian cuisines, but here it tastes really, really tasty. I'm a new regular customer. You can tell that quality is important here.

We had dinner there yesterday. Unfortunately, we cannot fully understand the previous reviews. The food was very lightly seasoned, spicy and tasted almost exclusively of coriander. Maybe we were just unlucky. Eaten on site

The food is so incredibly delicious, I can't even handle it. The restaurant has been in my neighborhood for 3 years and I only discovered it now. LOL. Plus: really nice rooms, clean and bright and super friendly staff. Please go there, people. :

The food was 1-1 Asian snack bar. Brown plastic sauce with a lot of glutamate and salt (couldn't eat it all), all sorts of vegetables and unfortunately very little rice that was well prepared. Bread is also great. Chai also very good. Service is nice. We only expected the food to be different, namely Indian! A pity .

Used to be one of my favourite restaurants am Weisensee. What happened to you guys?! Took the Chiken Korma takeout today and the chicken was absolutely impossible to chew! No exaggeration, the meat was simply un-eatable, not to mention the tenderness and softness that is a must for this dish and you used to cook it deliciously. The sauce is just as rough and flavorless, no sweetness of coconut milk and cashews, no tenderness. And where did the chickpea come from in it? I would never give you a negative rating, but it really was a failure. I'm truly sorry, hope you'll improve the quality of the dishes.
