"I had driven past this restaurant for a long time but had never been inside. We visited on a very hot Thursday evening to enjoy the special £9.95 menu. The friendly staff showed us to our table in the small restaurant at the front of the building. We asked what we could choose from on the special deal only be told anything you like except the seafood dishes which carry a small surcharge. So over popadoms and pickles we made our choices. My starter was Rainbow Chilli Lamb which was very tasty. For main I chose the Mauchak special with chicken with a cheese naan, the special was a good choice being similar to a pathia but with a twist. All of that for £9.95 you can’t go wrong. Everyone else enjoyed their food too. As it was hot we decided on ice cream to follow a scoop of strawberry gateau ice cream was only £2. A glass of wine is also reasonably priced. We will definitely return, based on the food and service it is hard to understand why it’s not packed out. Before we left we were shown the cocktail lounge which looked lovely with settees and a big screen not what you’d expect in an Indian restaurant!"

Absolutely terrible. Probably the worst curry I've ever had. The food was cold when it arrived, the taste was very bland. Should have gone back to spice masala

When ordering a meal for collection being told it'll be 25 minutes, I do not expect to have to wait an additional 30 minutes when I turn up. Worst still, I get back home the meal's cold! I will not be returning..

We ordered a good amount of food, but had to wait a long time before inquiring about our late order. The staff was extremely rude when we asked about it. Despite being regular customers, we will not be returning to this restaurant. I would give it a negative rating if possible, it was a terrible experience. Stay away from this place!

Not used here for a while so decided to treat ourselves. Order was hard work via supermeal. Food finally arrived chip smelt! Not sure how this can happen old oil or something? Chicken had a taste not a nice taste put me off. So scraped off my chips into the empty container. Picked through the meal. Will not be using here again worse meal I think I've ever been served! rice nan were ok but not what I call a good meal Please consider using another takeaway if this is the standard!

I visited Mauchak on a Friday evening with two friends. I found the restaurant to lack atmosphere when nobody was talking it was very quiet, and there was an odd layout of tables. The staff were haphazard in that they would forget about us and get orders wrong. Another table were complaining about similar issues. My food was nice, however my friend who ended up with the wrong meat and parts of her meal missing didn't like the taste of hers at all. I've had a takeaway from Mauchak before and it was really good great value for money and delicious food. I'll stick to that from now on.

After a tough day, I decided to treat myself to some desserts. I placed an order through Just Eat around 8:40 pm. Unfortunately, my desserts didn't arrive until 10:20 pm. My order was supposed to be sundaes, but instead, I received a scoop of ice cream, some whipped cream, and a few pieces of chocolate and brownie in a drink cup. It even came with straws, which seemed unnecessary. The presentation was very poor and disappointing. Although they tasted okay, I felt like I was overcharged at £15 for the desserts and a can of coke. If you can't deliver a proper sundae, then don't advertise it as one. I will definitely be looking for dessert options elsewhere in the future.

We have come to the conclusion that this establishment is incapable of processing and delivering a simple order. 3 times now we have ordered and on each occasion they have missed something from our order. For 1 milkshake 1 strawberry fizz and 1 waffle costing us over £20 you would expect them to deliver us the correct order. We gave this place another chance as last time the waffle was like cutting into stone, but unfortunately they have lost our custom now as we are sick and tired of ringing them up to complain about our delivery service. To also top this off i was actually enjoying my desert until I came across a small hair embedded in chocolate sauce which put me off. Think twice before o...

I tried Mauchak for the first time and was not impressed. The restaurant was empty when we arrived and we had to search for a staff member. The service was slow and the waiter seemed uninterested, speaking in mumbles. It took over an hour to get our starters, which were just okay. The portions were small, the curries had very little meat and lacked flavor. The food was served in side dish boats instead of balti dishes, so it was barely warm. There were no hot plates, hot flannels, or traditional accompaniments like mint chocs or orange slices. Additionally, they did not have cobra or kingfisher beer, claiming they hadn't had a chance to go to Morrison's, the only place that sells it. Overall...

"we wanted to visit the midlands and family for the first time since Christmas and in the frame of the visit I decided that we would take my mother for a nice Sunday dinner. she lives in telford and I am not familiar with the contrary so that I am on tripadvisor for ideas. I mean, I was looking for restaurants in Telford and sorted by rating; clays of broseley was the best from the list and that was what I booked. it is about a minute drive from my mother place through a beautiful shropshire landscape. we arrived in broseley a little early and found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. we were invited to take place on the terrace while they opened and had some drinks. I had a fantastic homemade limonade with glittering water, my mother had a Rhabarb juice that was so delicious that we were strolling home with us and my wife had a very nice pot tee. we had booked a table that had been placed in the restaurant for us, but we were offered the table on the terrace for lunch, which we liked to accept as the weather was perfect. we all ordered from the midday card, which for two courses and for three courses was a fantastic bargain. I ordered salmon and hake meatcakes with delicate brokolli, spargas and a white wine sauce and my wife and mother both ordered the beef Sirloin roast dinner. I was so impressed with eating. honestly, this restaurant lives up to all reviews. the ingredients were fresh and tasty and not refined as they get some places. to dessert my mother and I both had the rhubarb and custard' and playful plate that rhubarb compott, gelee, vanilla cream and small mygues combined crazy. the perfect end for every afternoon. during the meal were the employees (I'm sorry to say that I didn't get their names) attentive and friendly. our month old sohn, henry, has a stinking cold and has teethed, so was not on his best behavior, but the staff was fantastic with him. They even went so far that they broke out one of their dogs, a beautiful, huge dog called barney, for henry's entertainment. to cover everything, and this is great for parents of small children, they had a full baby change unit, complete with diapers, wipes and unhappy bags! I can honestly say I've never seen this before. all in all, for three nets, two desserts and drinks, the bill came less than unnecessary to say, I intend to visit again when we are close. I really can't wait."
